First, let me say that these shoes are pretty well-built. They look nice high-quality should last a while. I normally like black and white toed shoes so these seemed like a good purchase. I also normally give things five stars cause I don’t buy something unless I truly need it. I do a lot of research on things before I buy them so I’m pretty confident unless something happened with the actual shipment that the item I’m receiving is going to be exactly what I wanted. The one drawback to these shoes is the insole material. It seems to be made out of something sticky cork like so when I slide my foot in with a sock on it immediately grabs the sock and pulls it backwards. The only way I found around this is to loosen every single lace so I can almost drop my foot inside and that’s a hassle at least to me, it’s not slip on having to loosen everything just to get your foot in so it doesn’t yank your sock off. It’s actually a pain and that’s why I didn’t give it five stars. The insole itself is not removable and the shoe seems pretty tight. If you try to go buy an insert and put that in some kind of stuck with this weird sticky cork material for an insole. Maybe the shoes at one point had an insole type insert and they got removed before I receive the shoes that could be. But, the shoes were very well wrapped and they looked brand new like no one had ever tried them on once I pulled them out of the box so I figured that the insoles are the material the shoe comes with and I have to take it or leave it. What other thing about the insoles is that it seems kind of stiff so it doesn’t flex like most shoe inserts would. All the shoes are well built. They look nice lace up pretty easy. It’s the whole insole type. Insert thing that is an issue for me. Maybe you won’t mind it and if that’s the case, I could see these shoes easily be five stars.
