I thought i would leave a review because i was hesitant because of the poor reviews on this product mine seems to be very good quality it has been reliable and the app works well for me i have no connectivity issues and it zaps me awake everyday very happy i do only wear it at night as an alarm clock but it seems like it would hold up fine if you were to wear it through the day

I know that one of the main selling points of this is for self-behavioral training. However I mostly use it to wake myself up for my job at 2am. Being a first time parent and getting far too little sleep, this was a welcome wake-up aide. The support team is pretty prompt at responding and the software is pretty easy to use. Even if your phone dies, the app transfers all the time, alarms, preferences, etc directly onto the watch's memory so that it still functions correctly even as standalone. The electrodes are easy to clean and you can use a little bit of scotchbrite to refresh the surfaces (usually only need to do this once a month if I forget to wipe it down and the skin oils and sweat stay on the watch.

This reliably gets my 18 year old daughter to her college classes on time. Money well spent. She’s motivated to use tools that work and help her wake, and this has been essential to train herself to awaken in the morning.

So I have a very hard time waking up. I can sleep through a train. My alarm wakes my roommates from across the house up except me. Saw the Pavlok 2 shock clock and realized there was this new 3rd gen. **problems The top most button clicked and has been broken and become ridiculously hard to press if it even does(being 6,2 230) that is terrible. (Within first day of purchase) so obviously did the replace return on it for a new one and guess what?! The shock was broken on that one and the button was too. So I’m keeping the original one due to the fact I wanted it as a alarm clock. And that part works. It gets 3 stars because it will wake you up. The watches are sadly very cheap feeling for 200$ you’d expect something that felt 200$. But hey best alarm clock you can get . This is 3 days in so I’ll update if need be. Also the app navigation is not good. I’m a developer myself. It feels very cluttered and not intuitive to get to where you need to be. And since it’s not intuitive you’d think it would give you a rundown of the whole app somehow and it doesn’t . Anyway I don’t normally write reviews but this deserved one being it was 200$. Anyway ✌️

First impressions weren’t bad but weren’t great. Just over 24 hours in I can tell you I have wasted my money. Th watch looks a little junky at first glance but it’s sturdier than it looks tbh. That however doesn’t mean long term it will hold up, it just passed my first couple tests of sturdiness. The face isn’t lined up properly, the band is a cheap piece of silicone plastic with junky pins holding it onto the unit. It did however hold up being lightly washed in the sink a few times, as I wash my hands extremely frequently. And the first alarm I had set worked somewhat well. However, that is pretty much where anything good stops. The watch has already unpaired a handful of times, including once when an alarm was going leaving me to be continuously shocked until I ripped it off, as it was taking rather long to re-pair it with my phone. The good habits system is only a log and it isn’t even that user friendly. The bad habits system I could see working if you were really dedicated to it but even then it’s more inconvenient than helpful thus far. I’m going to keep giving it a chance but I’m really not hopeful. Battery seems okay, it did drop relatively quickly but I did mess around with the features. No success with step or sleep tracking but I’ll chalked that out user error for now. There pretty much no way to integrate this into other apps or play games or anything like that that was advertised.
