The height of the I-beam has NOTHING to do with the trolley!! The width, and width only is what’s important to note. The manufactures need to be more clear on what the beam max trolley WIDTH they can handle,. Especially, when you’re paying $259-$450+ just for the trolley (and you still need to pay for the lift)

What size I Beam required with this product for a 24 foot span?

You should consult a structural engineer for calculations specific to your application. However a general simple rule is that the height of the beam in inches should be equal to half the span in feet. So for a 24 foot span, it would be recommended to use a 12 inch tall beam.
