Nice sound
The guitar has a nice sound; however, it came completely out of tune and it often falls out of tune.

Im quite impressed, its quite loud n good. Very stretchy strings
When the strings stop stretching (you can literally watch them stretch on a tuner) , the one I received plays quite nicely. Pretty easy, easiest acoustic I've tried to play. Still tough for beginners w acoustic till you build up finger tone n dexterity but this may work. Love the blue. Sounds like a nice soft nylon but louder than most acoustics ive heard. Not a musician, disabled back guy. Very light for those who like or need that like me. Quality n value for price, mind blown! Giftable, teachable small light inexpensive nylon acoustic that sounds good. Nice. Im adult so past 15th fret not much use to me w adulthand arm size. Still very glad i bought this. The cord w strap is to tie onto an acoustic, through or around the head stock. 12/10...12/16..update, did i say the strings would stop stretching? Apparently not w nylon.lol Just ordered more strings, sounds very good. Have to tune frequently but getting...a little better. Still plays easy n sounds dreamy. Love the harmonics. Power chords slide pretty easy! =)

Wow! Just... wow!
I am definitely not a beginner, as I have been playing the classical guitar for many, many years. I wanted to get a 1/2 size classical guitar, at a reasonable price, (purchased used, good condition) just to pick up and play, not only classical but blues as well. When I opened the box, paint was already chipping off, but that's OK. I knew when I purchased this guitar, it would not be perfect. I was very impressed! I play this little guitar, more than I play my professional models. I love this size! AS WITH ALL NYLON STRING GUITARS, it usually takes 2-3 weeks to stay in tune, as nylon strings need to stretch. The sound is very, very good. Gotta go... gotta play!

This "guitar" is JUNK!!
I've been playing guitar for a little over a year. I'm not an expert, but this is JUNK! I liked the way it looked. I thought it looked nice. The strings that come with most guitars are junk so I changed them to Ernie Ball classical nylon strings. They sounded dead on this guitar. I then changed them with carbon classical strings. They sounded better, but there was a terrible buzz on the 4th and 5th string. I was wondering what was wrong, the bridge was coming off! That did it. I literally threw it in the trash after one day! I lost my money, but at least it was under 50 dollars. Don't wast your money on this crap.

Good and Bad but
Maybe 3 and a half stars, I am a professional guitarist and have mixed opinions about this $49 classical guitar in no particular order: -Plastic bridge (ABS?) + plastic saddle, not the traditional materials but not complaining, it's different but sonically pretty responsive and articulates tonal range well. -Prestrung with decent quality wound silk and nylon classical strings, tied to bridge with too many loops on wound strings but it works. -Frets level but not crowned and very rough, unsuitable for string bending or left hand vibrato techniques, don't hear the note as much as the strings rubbing on the rough surface of frets. Can be played otherwise but not sure if it's worth the polishing. -Wood construction differs from traditional methods, formed sides are glued directly to top and back- no kerfing. Not good or bad just different. -Odd smell from interior may possibly be attributed to the species of woods or potentially the glue used. Smells a bit pissy as Polar wood or Salix tends to, some woods just smell funny it's not the manufacturers fault, but unsure if the manufacturers description of ash/basswood/maple is accurate or complete. -Scale length approximately 22" nut to saddle, 3/4 ish classical. Could handle alto or requinto tunings Even if it's not great, it's still fun to play with, for a kid or goofy adult like me. It's still cheap enough to be a traveller, party guitar, beater, sacrifice for experimental modifications, art project, doing odd things i wouldn't consider doing to a nicer guitar I wouldn't feel bad doing to this one.

Amazing guitar
I was afraid to buy this because it didn't seem to have good reviews, but I was one of the lucky ones. This guitar is an amazing starter guitar. I am taking lessons now and my teacher says it's a great guitar. It has an amazing sound. It is a little smaller than a regular acoustic but not by much. I'm a small person with small hands so I wanted a little smaller guitar. This one is perfect. I am 55 years old and very small in arms and hands. It wasn't hard to tune. I just looked on Youtube and found an easy instrument tuner for guitar. Hopefully I will be playing Celtic and Moroccan music soon.
