Q: The lock is not opening when correct code entered. Code entered, lock beeps, but no click of lock engaging. Any ideas?

Are you using your master code? The device should beep with every number pushed, and then disengage with a whirr if the batteries are not dead. If it is the batteries, use the emergency battery pack that came with the lock. I've got two of them and they work great. I tested them several times before I installed them, programmed a few codes into each and I have never had a problem with any of the codes on either of the locks

This usually happens to me when I'm in a rush to get inside! I just chalked it up to me being hurried (phone's ringing, I need to pee, kids are whining, etc). Other than that, I'm not sure.

Q: Is this lock reversible for right or left hand open doors?

I'm pretty sure it is. The door I put it is on the left side while facing the outside of the door. I believe it would have worked on the otherside too.
