Q: Anyone know of another way to light it without a saw? Eventually I'll own the Huntsman but the Explorer lacks the saw.

All you need is a good sharp 90 degree edge to scrape slivers of ferocium off a rod to create sparks. Carbon steel works best.

I do not believe so, but the product fits perfectly with the victorinox knives! And it works well for what it is!

Q: How long does each kindling burn?

I'm not one for whipping out a stopwatch and going viral etc. I will say this...if you are in dire straights, has potential to burn long enough to get you out. If y'all just want a cup of coffee, break some off (fluff it up) and use sparingly. You tube Jon gadget and his take on these. G'luck, stay safe & never stop learning!
