this little kit makes a wonderful gift, my five year old nephew was chuffed with it . there is a drawstring bag, dressing up hat and jacket , magnifying enclosure, tweezers, magnifying glass and a wee multi functional tool that includes a torch and whistle. there is also and adventure journal. it all comes in a nice presentation box . really good set for encouraging and fostering outdoor activities.

Kids had great fun learning how to use each of the items. Build quality ok but not sure how long some of the items will last before breaking.

Smaller and looks cheaper than I thought.

This is a great children’s outdoor explorers set.There are a lot of items included in this little box and my 4 year old granddaughter loved dressing up in the safari vest & hat and taking all of the tools out to look for bugs.The vest is great with lots of pockets and hooks to keep all of your tools safe.The whistle isn’t the greatest, it doesn’t blow very well and the added thermometer doesn’t seem to change temperature (I don’t know if it’s supposed to), but the compass on the other side is a lovely addition to help teach a child direction.The included bag is a good idea to be able to keep everything together.There is a velcro safety release on the strap for the hatOverall this is a great little set for children who love to get out and about exploring!

Nice little kit for nature lovers with a little bit of everything that can be used to experiment and analyse the outdoors. Even a mini light is included. A drawstring bag is in the set to help hold it all too.I do feel like more colour could have been used as the over-use of blue does kind of make this feel a little gender bias. I see no reason why each piece of equipment couldn't have been different colours. Also the bag could have been more colourful as this black decal on this was hard to see on the blue.It is's nice set and good for any budding biologist wanting to explore the garden or a woods perhaps.
