Q: how much for ink replacement?

If you don't get the factory spec toner from Brother, a 4 pack, all three colors and black was around 50 dollars, cheapest I found. You don't have to buy all the colors, and can just replace the toner color you are getting low on, which might be likely black if you most print B/W like documents, or pictures with lots of dark background. Individual colors toners are around 15-20. It might be possible to get higher capacity toner cartridges and esp like a black. I didn't note the differences in capacity for some of the alternate toner bundles, so perhaps that explains the big differences in cost.

Q: What is the capacity for printing #10 envelopes?

I have a Brother Model HL-L3210CW color wireless laser printer. This answer applies to this printer. This printer has a manual feed door in front that opens and its width is adjustable. In the rear of the machine, there is a door that opens and the printed envelope can be extracted from there, so that the envelope path is straight through the printer. Only use envelopes that are made for laser printers. Due to the high heat of the fuser, you should not use envelopes with paper strips covering the adhesive, or envelopes with adhesives that are not compatible with the high heat of laser printers.

An Expensive Adjunct to Our Black and White Printer

But worth it for the times when only color will do. Brother printers will always get our vote, they take used cartridges to recycle, and delivery is zip fast.

There should be some accountability for vendors "claiming" their products support wireless

I bought this printer because the reviews seemed solid. I have a large home and have near 100% wifi coverage with 7 access points using a controller based system. For some reason I always have problems with wifi laser printers. This brother HL-L3210 is the next victim on the list. I just upgrades to OSX 12 and the printer stopped working. No tech support, no drivers, no luck. The wifi barely supported 802.11n and wont support anything newer. The firmware update tool references a password that is printed on the back of the unit and guess what, there is no password. Laser printer companies need to wake up and smell the coffee. Creating products that provide a terrible user experience is contrarian to market survival. Dont buy this printer unless you are going to connect it through usb. BTW I am an engineer, that should tell you how awful the experience is with this wireless printer.
