Chemical Principles: The Quest for Insight Seventh Edition

First, I would recommend renting this book rather than buying it as it is definitely much cheaper.When my rental arrived, it was in great, almost new, condition as every page seemed fresh.As for the book itself, it is wonderful because it provides historic background behind each section which eliminates boredom and brings more engagement and understanding of the origin of each lesson and why it is so important.Sure you might not have time to read the whole chapter, but when you do it is really worth it. Even if you do not, a quick skim through the great examples and explanations you need is more than helpful.This particular textbook I found does not have all the answers in the back, so the best alternative I found was Chegg, which has all the same problems and answers from this book (that is if you actually plan on getting a chegg account). Just paste and search the ISBN on chegg and the answers for this book should be there (beware the first chapter has some incorrect answers). Of course your TA and office hours are a great and very much recommended source as well for getting help and checking your work.Overall, I was satisfied with the service and the bargain cost considering I rented it for 36$. There was no hassle receiving and returning this book. I recommend it especially if you have Amazon Prime.Unfortunately, by reading the reviews, not everyone has the same experience by renting it. However, you must realize that if you can read it, then that is all you really need. It is alright if it has a busted sticky cover or torn corners. Just put a book sleeve over it and pretend that stuff was never there.

wrong edition for what I needed

I chose the condition as very good. When I opened the box, I feel it is even hard to say as acceptable. The cover is so bad and it would fall off after few use. I returned it.
