Great performance at a reasonable price!
When I opened the box I was shocked at the quality of this machine. Hefty and nicely finished; this thing feels like it will hold up for a very long time. It took almost no time to set up, and when I tried it, I was pleased. Comparatively quiet and comfortable in my hand compared to my Dremel. This 1000w Vevor reminds me of the die grinders in a tool and die shop! It backs those RPMs with a lot more torque than my Dremel. The foot pedal does feel cheap, but the functionality is excellent, and it's easy to control the speed while in use. The chuck is easy to use and adjusts up to 1/4 inch and down to almost nothing! I prefer it over collets. Having a forward/off/reverse is handy. The flex shaft rotates inside a metal sheath rather than plastic. It comes with a spare flex shaft, an extra set of brushes, and a small starter assortment of bits. I did lubricate the flex shaft, which I would recommend doing before using it so it doesn't wear out too soon. Only time will tell if it holds up but for only $69 I'm loving it!

Quality flexshaft tool kit for a nice price
Excellent flexshaft kit. This included the power unit, flexshaft (and spare internal drive cable), foot pedal control, a set of assorted sanding & grinding bits and a chuck key for tightening the collet. It also came with a spare set of carbon brushes and springs. The power unit plugs into the foot pedal and the pedal then plugs into the wall. You can use it without the foot pedal by plugging the power unit into the wall, but then you need to use the power unit switch to turn it on/off. With the pedal you step on it to turn the power unit on and take your foot off to stop it. This makes it very handy to use when using the sanding or grinding bits. I use mine for bandsaw and puzzle boxes and the fine control that this makes available is very helpful in reducing the amount of hand sanding I need to do. I use a variety of sanding sponges, mops and drill mount sanding drums in this unit. If it fits in the chuck I can use it to more easily get into the nooks and crannies that would be difficult or impossible using a drill or drill press or even something like a Dremel as the flexshaft is relatively small (about 6" at the tool end and a half-inch in diameter). The Vevor flexshaft kit was a much better price than other flexshaft products I looked at. It is solidly built, nicely kitted out in with accessories and well constructed. The power unit is robust and a little heavy if you were holding it directly but I have mine hanging off the side of my bench so all I'm handling is the shaft end. Two things they could improve on would be the addition of something to lock the outer sleeve of the tool end to make it easier to access and tighten the chuck (it works fine the way it is, but as I'm tightening it up if the chuck key slips out, the outer sleeve may rotate a bit and I have to readjust it to get the key back in the chuck and engaged with the chuck gears). The other modification I'd make is the addition of a hook on the flexible shaft cable or some sort of stand/tool rest to allow the chuck end of the flexshaft be secured to the table when working so it doesn't drop to the floor or roll off the bench.

Better then any Dremel I have burned up.
The drive motor has awesome power better then any Dremel for less $ money. I have burned up 3 Dremel in 1 year with my hobby of making lock blade folding knives. The speed controller that comes with unit is a bit cumbersome to use for long running work. I purchased a speed controller Hanlei Model CCMTKAC-400 to control the unit without the foot peddle. You may want to purchase the thing. I found these work great. QWORK 3.2ft Metal Flexible Inner Shaft Cable, 2 Pack Inner Flex Shaft Cable. Flexible Flex Shaft Rotary Grinder Handle Tool Tackle 0.3~4mm. There are many Pro's and there are a few Con's Pro's Foot peddle speed control (Is a Pro and Con) Drive Motor power enough for any task. Noise level much lower than compared to Dremel. Replaceable Tool holder making it easy to have easy swappable tools. Tool holder is a 3 jaw chuck holding up to 1/4" 6.3mm for any tool bit you can think of. Con's Unit is not very portable. Unit come with only foot peddle speed control (Google AC Fan Speed Controller.) No built in guilds for tools like Dremel threaded head. ( I Created 3d printed hand held worktable can find on thingiverse.com Work in progress) Tool holder head large making tight spaces a bit cumbersome

great tool
item works well the first thing I did was to remove the outer cover on the cable and lubed the inner part with white silicone grease like I do on the dremel tool and I have no trouble with it getting hot or breaking I run them for hrs at a time well made worth the money

Great Customer Support
The measure of a quality product relies not only on build and function but also on brand policy when problems arise. Every product sold on the market today has manufacturing defects. The industry standard is ~5% of total inventory. Most companies have rigorous quality control policies to identify a subset of defects before being released for sale but there is no surefire system to guarantee that all units within a product line are free of defects. It's par for the course. How a manufacturer chooses to resolve defective units is the true measure of a quality product. When a brand adopts a generous policy pertaining to product replacement, you can be certain that their manufacturing defect rate is very low. I was reminded of this when I reached out to Vevor Customer Service about 3 months after purchasing this rotary tool. I will describe the issue below (to assist others who may encounter a similar problem) but suffice to say that Vevor was quick to replace the entire unit. They went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was positive. Too many popular brands have forgotten how to treat their loyal customers with respect despite significant drops in build quality (I'm looking at YOU Logitech). TECHNICAL DETAILS: I didn't know what to expect upon first use. I thought the tool was a bit noisy but had nothing with which to compare functionality. There were times when I really had to give the pedal some extra juice for it to be effective but I didn't think much of it. From the start I would also hear subtle clinking sounds during use. I couldn't put my finger on it but it sounded like the flex shaft was slipping and the motor was racing to catch up. By the 2nd month of use the sound had grown louder and was occurring more frequently. Then, one day the flex shaft just popped off the motor housing during use. As the motor spun down the spring inside unraveled from the sheath and left a greasy mess on my workbench. I pushed it back it and secured the collar as best I could but it kept happening with greater frequency. After one occurrence I was unable to reconnect the shaft to the motor. It just wouldn't reassemble. This is when I reached out to Vevor. Meanwhile, my boyfriend took a closer look and was able to see that the attachment point for the flex shaft was missing a screw and a pin which was supposed to secure it in place. Amazing it worked as long as it did, considering. I had been working through the troubleshooting steps provided by Vevor Support when this information was revealed. Once I shared this info with them they were quick to send a replacement. No problems whatsoever with the new unit. I love this rotary tool. Can't imagine life without it. Thank you Vevor.

WORST product support I have ever received---BAR NONE
Most unfortunate that ANAZON has no ZERO star rating. To be perfectly fair I have been pleased with the products performance. However after my unit was damaged in an auto accident I reached out to VEVOR customer support for help. I needed a simple replacement part that was completely serviceable and explained that I was more then willing to pay for it since the damage was not the company's fault. I have bought many VEVOR products over the years and the last thing I expected was a complete lack of concern or support from VEVOR. I was informed that if the product failed they would provide warranty service but they would not sell any repair parts to me. They only sold complete units. This is an absolutely stupid policy since they show all the parts individually in exploded view diagrams in the product manual, and their support page asks for repair part names and # designations as listed in the illustrations to make a warranty claim. Obviously, the parts are available! I was prepared to cover any parts cost and I would have covered the shipping also, without any problem. I am sorely disappointed in the VEVOR customer service team's response to my problem and I refuse to pay for a complete new unit when mine can be readily repaired, for at most a few dollars, with a single ferrule nut and costs of shipping. If I buy another unit it will be from a different manufacturer, and I already informed VEVOR that they have permanently lost what was a loyal, and devoted customer. I will also make sure to replace any other products I have of their brand with products from different lines as the need to make repairs or purchases arise in the future. BEWARE the total lack of common sense product support that exists at VEVOR. I really never expected such a total lack of concern. By the way, I only had occasion to use the product twice. It makes no sense not to repair it since it was basically new. Bad deal all around.

Vevor product review- absolutely awesome product
This is my first Vevor product and I must say, I am very impressed with the quality of this rotary took. I will use it in my restoration products and, to tell you the truth, I really thought this was not going to live up to my expectations. It was one of the cheapest priced rotary's online so I decided to give it a shot. I figured I had nothing to lose and if I didn't like it, I would have returned it and bought my original choice that was over two times the price. Oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. This has given me the confidence to purchase future Vvor products- this is coming from a Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita and name brand guy!!! Thank you for a great product and it actually paid for itself after my first restoration!! Feel secure. Its worth a shot!!
