KEEN Men's Ridge Flex Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots

I used boots for hiking in the mountains week ago. Fantastic grip on the snow and ice. Mostly, very comfortable. Literally moulded to my feet. Waterproof, great value for money. Highly recommended!!! 👍

I like the boots as they are roomy and comfortable for walking long distances. I actually wear them all day as they so comfortable.

Not 100% waterproof as advertised and not sure about the Ridge flex design....seems to be misshapen around that area and potentially could split over time. Otherwise a comfortable boot with plenty of grip.

These boots are comfy straight out the box,,, impressed so far after 1st short hike. Only thing noticed initially is the heel could do with better grip,,, and you can't double loop the laces in the top open lace loops...

I love these boots/trainers - they are lightweight, comfortable and the style and colours are pleasing to my eye. Worth paying a little extra for quality product that I know will last

Also suited my need for a wide fit.Follow on review: After using these boots 5 times, I noticed that the flexible area in the toe was starting to split on the left boot. Knowing this would get worse I decided to contact Keen to ask for a refund or exchange.In hindsight I should have contacted the retailer but having contacted Keen, when they eventually responded, they asked for more details and after 2 months told me to go through the retailer. A complete waste of time so eventually after 3 months with the boots returned to the retailer and with the assistance of Amazon I got a refund. It’s a pity Keen hadn’t been more helpful from the start.It goes without saying I wouldn’t recommend these boots nor Keen for their poor and misleading customer service.

My feet are technically not that big, in theory a 5.5 or 6, but they are wide, with very high tops of the feet. As such, I always have to wear men's size 6, or women's 7 super wide. Finding footwear is always a gamble whether they will fit width wise. I recently bought shoes ladies 7 wide and they really weren't , so I was skeptical about these boots being a wide fit. So I went for a size 7. Fortunately or unfortunately for me, they are not only actually proper wide fit, they are also as long as mans size 7. This is both a pleasant surprise because this really never happens with women's fit shoes, and also unfortunate, because I could really have done with the size 6.5. Sadly, the size 6.5 are £30 more expensive than the 7. Having spent donkeys years wearing boots that are too long just so I can get the width to fit, I'm used to that, but as I noticed a review here and there saying these come up small, I can say with all confidence, these are AT LEAST true to size, if not actually a bit biggerBUTI have had to send these back because straight out of the box I can see the soles are not glued all the way round to the boot. There are multiple gaps between the sole and the boot. These are therefore weak points for water to get in, and for durability. For a pair of boots that can retail for £160 I expected better quality workmanship to ensure they last.

Worn many boot walking the dogs these are the only ones I have found that stay waterproof until the sole is worn through, I have tried many top brands but this are by far the bestGreat value and do the job

Third pair of Keen boots I've purchased love Keen boots holing up well and made with good material holding up well

I find these to be some of the most comfortable hiking boots I've owned. They don't give me any blisters on 3 hr hikes without any break in time. They're very warm - not sure I'd want to use them in the summer. They work best when temperatures are below 5 C.Sized up half a size from my running shoe size. People told me that Keen boots run wide, so I tried the regular D width first but they didn't feel wide enough. Fortunately the wider boots were perfect.

Love the Heel Lock feature on these - didn't need a break in period at all - perfect fit and comfort. Well done Keen!
