Best soup base ever
This is so yummy, full of amazing, and versatile! I can make Japanese style omelet, make udon, hot pot, or even fried chicken seasoning. It's fine power so easy to dissolve too.

Soup base is excellent
If you like Kansai-style udon, this soup base will be the best. It offers a more delicious broth than what you usually get at Japanese restaurants. I've used this product for a long time, and I was able to buy it for the cheapest price on Amazon. When I received it, I also noticed it had a long expiration date. Highly recommended!

Magic Broth Mix for Culinary Magicians.
It is the best soup stock instant mix I have ever tried. I use it for everything, soups, marination, salads, spice addition, etc. It saves me when I skip a meal, just mix with hot water and enjoy the delicious hot broth. An acquaintance from Japan brought me a "Low Sodium" version, however, I am unable to find this on-line. They are both delicious. I am going to subscribe to this and get a monthly delivery. I always get the 2 large boxes of 50 packets and keep 1 at work and home. It's magic dust for culinary creations!

Great but too salty.
This is a great base but it has way too much sodium vs. richness of flavor. Shame, the flavor is very nice.

Kansai flavor
This Udon stock is Kansai (Osaka/Kobe area) flavor, a little different from Kanto (Tokyo area) and I love it. I cannot eat Udon with any other stock.

It tastes more like Ramen soup but still pretty good.

Great for more than udon.
I've used this to make upon, ramen, and pho that tastes almost legitimate compared to what we get at the Saigon restaurant in town. A bit small for the money but otherwise a great buy.
