I such, what can I say. I'm a newbie and can't even get my headers soldered right sometimes. I also suck as bad as copper wicking. This things transformed my life. The suction is crazy good and the to gets good and hot. Even lead free solder doesn't stand a chance. I love it and wish us bought it before

I used this to fix PS5 stick drift by switching out the joysticks for TMR Electromagnetic Joystick. It did the job but not without drawbacks.1. Get a soldering kit. Preferably one with flux, solder wire, copper wic, brass sponge and tweezers.2. Also something to hold the circuit board. ie: a mount with clips.3. Do this in a well ventilated area. The fumes are toxic.4. Turn on the solder and let it burn off the treatment for 20 minutes or until you don’t see smoke anymore.5. If you have trouble removing original solder, add some of your own to help it melt and suck it up better.6. Use 99% rubbing alcohol ISP and a tooth brush to clean any mess.7. Watch videos on how to solder and how to replace PS5 joysticks to help you. You’re gonna need it.8. This gets really hot. Don’t get burned!9. Do the math on how much it’ll cost you to fix it yourself and compare it to the cost to have a pro do it. This is tedious and a pain. Research!!!I fixed two controllers and did calibrations and it worked!!!

The concept of this product is amazing. I used it about 200 times before it broke in half. I learned the hard way that you don't have to push down on the solder to be removed. That might be why it broke. When it did work, this tool was amazing!

IT'S JUST A DESOLDERING IRON . IT DOES WHAT IT WAS MAKE TO DO . NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS.

I've soldered for years and was modifying a PS5 Controller for my son. the usual solder gun with a desolder pen was no working. didn't really need to upgrade to a full blown desoldering station. let me tell you this desolder gun works!I was very impressed with how well it works, and the accessories sent with the kit, make a it a no brainer.If your on the fence at all, don't be! Happy with the Quality and value of this purchase! not my first piece of equipment from them. would buy again.

Oh my gosh this solder sucker is awesome. It works as advertised and is super easy to use. Great product now time will tell how long it will last but for onesies twosies this is great

So, at this price point, it's a decent working device.I bought 4 different "budget" desoldering pumps, and they are ALL EXACTLY THE SAME. EXACTLY THE SAME!Just different colored plastic.I've been using this model constantly everyday. (Along with the other 3) as I do a lot of component changes on pcb boards.It works ok, but already having problems with the suction. They tell you to clean the O rings on a regular basis, but they are actually wearing out.One of the biggest problems with "budget" devices like this and clone soldering stations are most of the parts needed for replacement after long use are not available. (i.e. ceramic heating elements, O rings) like with the more "standard" and more expensive brands.There are tips available, but you cannot replace the ceramic element if it burns out, and so far I dont see replacement O rings available.For the price, I guess its a throw away device.I dont know how long it will last, time will tell. At least if this one burns out, I have the other 3 as backups.

Works, but cheaply made. How long will it work? Not on suggested to buy list. Fast Delivery
