Excellent little unit!
This little compact a/c is a beast!! I love it! I got if for a master bedroom and in height of a heatwave it kept it nice and chilly. I did put up black out curtains to kept out the sun. It was super easy to set up. Directions were easy to follow. The room was cooled in under an hour & it was unbearably hot. Ultimately this little unit cooled my whole apt when I put a fan in the hallway of the bedroom to circulate the air. I’ll be honest I kept it running non stop for 3 days on high in the day & on low setting at night. The air flow is strong. It’s quiet for a portable a/c. It’s no louder than a fan on medium. I’m very happy so far with this unit. It survived & performed well in its first heatwave. If anything goes wrong I will comeback with an update. This is not a paid for review!

Very cool indeed!, works well, window vent easy to install, very pleased
It was a very hot when it arrived so waiting the allotted time to allow refrigerate was tough but well worth it as it cools the room very nicely. The installation was easy. Nice packaging allows, you to lift the box off once you cut all the binding strips so to don't have to lift it out of the box. A little heavier than expected for carrying upstairs, but once there it rolls nicely on the wheels. The set up instructions were easy to follow and the window vent works well. The heat it pushes out through the vent is amazing. The unit is not that loud, but I had no idea what to expect and had chosen this one because of the great "sound ratings" so I'm glad I didn't the the louder ones. It is a little louder than the rotating fans it replaced but the temperature difference is awesome and worth it. I work from home and even sitting only 5 feet from the desk, no one is able to hear it on the conference calls so very pleased with that. The temperature settings and the fan settings work exactly as you would expect with very easy controls run with the remote or on the top of the unit. Very pleased, think we will buy a second one.

Great little AC
This is a great AC unit for our bedroom that gets southern sun exposure - where the central HVAC doesn’t quite do the job. It’s great at cooling the space down (roughly 240 square feet, with a high sloped ceiling). I expect my electric bill will be lowered as this little cooler allows us to set the central AC at a higher temperature house-wide. Prior to using this little guy, we’d crank the central air to keep the bedroom comfortable, while the rest of the house was quite icy. Now there’s temperature balance between the rest of the house and the bedroom. As this is the only portable AC unit I’ve ever owned, I have no other standard to compare it to. Please read the following minor complaints with this in mind. It is a little loud, in that, if one doesn’t sleep with earplugs, it can disturb sleep as it cycles on and off throughout the night. This could be mitigated by using the sleep function so the unit automatically turns off. Consistent with another reviewer, the connectivity is an issue if you plan to use your mobile to control the unit. This is mitigated by ability to use the enclosed remote. Finally, I found the air vent hose easily popping out of the unit itself and out of the enclosed window venting panel. Ultimately, I just put the air vent hose out the window, tossed that frustrating window panel, and left the window slightly open. It still cools the space to seemingly Arctic degrees despite having the window slightly ajar. Overall, it’s a great buy and I would recommend it to others.

Purchased multiple options
I have purchased the 8k btu for a bedroom and both the 12k btu & 14k btu for the living room. 8,000 BTU AC: Works great even with the fan developing a spot without air. My bedroom is about ~125 sqft connected to a ~50 sqft closet that connects to a ~50 sqft bathroom. This cools all of that great, my room gets COLD. I can run it without cycling as long as it’s set to a low setting (61-65°F) or on “dry” mode. Small compared to other machines, easy to move and set up. Nois is as expected, like a loud box fan (I like loud white noise), have not had any leaks or drainage issues. 14,000 & 12,000 BTU ACs: Same experience for both, but I had the 14k longer. The pros are the decent size, and the WiFi option is nice. However, both did not cool my space. I used the 14k for longer and If anything, it made my space hotter. My living area is somewhat small. Open living/kitchen & attached den space are all around 350 sqft, this claims to cool 600 at peak. This cycles too often and the compressor is off & blowing hot air for way longer than it is on (attached photos shows how many minutes it’s on vs off). I followed the directions, I made sure everything was how and where it needed to be, I even insulated the hose. Nothing worked. I even tested it on a cool day where the temp was 65° out and it ended up making my space 76°. The cycling is way too big a disturbance to make it functional as an AC even on a cool day in my experience.

Originally gave a bad reviews. Now I understand it and love it.
New Review: Small, cute design, serves it purposes in the Los Angeles area. I was struggling with making this work, as it would stop and I could not turn it back on. They should mention this in the manual and on the product page, but this unit has a temperature sensor that will makes the unit stop once it reaches the desired temperature, saving energy. Every time you turn the AC on or OFF, it will stop for 3 minutes, to help give longevity to the condenser as well, which I am sure is a good thing. In COOLING MODE, after you reach the desired temperature, it will not turn on again for at least the 3 minutes to save the condenser longevity, and until the temperature rises again. You can either set the temperature lower, or change to DRY MODE to make it run, but remember the DRY MODE is the DEHUMIDIFIER mode, which will create more water. The unit also has the FAN mode, which will only blow the air inside the room. The unit is very symmetrical and small, like all others, it has the standard large hose blowing air outside (I wish they would make a smaller one and sell separately), very clean, and it is obviously noisy, but not like many other units out there. I use for my bedroom, in Los Angeles, and it is honestly enough to cool it very well and VERY quickly. It evaporates the water automatically, so no need to dump it. BUT REMEMBER, I live in Los Angeles, which is not too humid. Over all, I was worried about this, but so far, I love it, really do. It seems to have decent quality, so I hope it lasts for a long time! I will probably only use it for about 1 month out the year and put it away, but so far, I am loving it. Original Review: First of all. This is pretty small, beautiful, but the bad reviews are true. Unit turns off completely every 5 to 10 minutes. Will not turn on again for 20 or 30, no matter what you do. You can plug it off and back on, reset, press all buttons. The compressor will not work again for 20 to 30 minutes. It only works when it wants. It will work for 5 to 10 min, then turn off and will not turn on again for another 30 minutes or so... it varies. Terrible. FAN and DEHUMIDIFIER will work, but NOT the cooling AC. Seems like it is by design. I did not believe it, so I purchased it... but not YOU BELIEVE ME, the 10,000 BTU works this way. Dont make the same mistake I made, dont even try it.

Temperature sensor is useless
Tldr: If you want your room to be a specific temperature, don't buy this unit and if you do, don't expect help from the manufacturer. I really wanted to like this unit. I had another before this, and this unit has a MUCH better window vent setup. The sensor in it is inaccurate though, and the manufacturer is claiming that is to be expected. I specifically bought this unit because it can be set as low as 61°. I need a cool bedroom at night to sleep, which is the whole reason why I use these units. Rather than cooling the 3600 sq ft of my house to that tenperature, I just want to cool my 400 sq ft. bedroom. Even when it was 50° outside, this unit would not cool my room below 65°. It would shut off. Most nights, it barely even would turn on, and when it would, it would quickly shut off. Then, when it was time to use the heat function, it WAY overheated my room to anywhere from 65-68°. Not only is this too hot for me to sleep, but its also wasting electricity. I contacted the seller/manufacturer and they said this was totally normal and offered me $30. This was after they in fact did acknowledge it as an issue by asking for pictures of my unit setup. After a back and forth, with me always having to aggressively remind them that I would win a credit card dispute due to a faulty product, they finally said I could return the item for a full refund. Every email was worded as if they were doing me a favor. In their last email to me, they said: "We do not provide repair services. Normally we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund directly without returning the machine if the machine is defective. However, your machine seems to work normally (although you didn't agree with that), therefore, we prefer to arrange a refund once receive your return." This is ridiculous. So now, I have to try to find a box and padding to send it back, against their usual policy, because their unit completely ignoring the temperature set is considered normal operating.

Inspect all components and included hardware
**Update Read To End***Unit looked to be damaged (photos) upon opening and assembly, put it together to see if operational, it works fine. It is quieter tham most window AC even on high mode it is not as loud as most. Noise is not an issue. However only has one direction open or closed to blow and you must move unit around for directional airflow. It cools down in an acceptable amount of time. Disappointed in the included installation hardware and accessories. The foam insulating strips to seal the window were useless since they were so flattened (photos next to my finger), you will need to have your own if the ones packaged are damaged find in hardware section of most stores windows/doors. The window pieces are easy to configure and assemble, but you will need the foam strips in place. The clips that attach to hold the cord do not stay, they pop off and there are no screws to hold them in place, so you have to wrap cord around unit instead. There is a valve you have to use to empty condensation, attach included hose to drain, replace cap and power back up, it's easy! Customer service is exceptional and will remedy issues with the unit. Production is aware of the issues and we are confident they will follow up and improve the assembly parts and hardware. Overall, very confident in this company, as they stand behind their products. Definitely will be a repeat buyer! Thanks Laura! You were amazing!

Simple way to cool your room
This portable AC is a lifesaver! It cools down my room fast and handles the summer heat like a champ. The dehumidifier feature is a bonus, and I love that I can control it from my phone using WiFi—super convenient when I’m too lazy to get up. Setup was simple, and it’s not too loud, which is great for sleeping or working. It’s perfect for my space, and the sleek blue design looks nice too. If you need a reliable and easy-to-use AC, this one’s a great pick!
