Purchased two of these speakers, and chose them for the sound quality and ability to connect them together so that the same phone can play the same music on multiple speakers. The sound quality is good. However, the speakers have to be physically close to one another in order to connect. We wanted to have one upstairs and one downstairs playing the same music, but the only way to accomplish this is to physically carry one 35-pound speaker either up or down the stairs, sit it next to the other speaker, pair/connect, then carry it up (or down) a flight of stairs again. Every time. If a speaker gets turned off, or if someone else wants to control the music from a different phone, you have to repair by setting them next to one another again. They are not designed with easy carry handles, which makes lugging them around feel much heavier. We use these speakers less and less often because they are such a pain to maneuver.

As I said it was a gift for my son. First, he was surprised and secondly, he hasn’t stopped using it since he got it for his birthday on the fifth. It was so good to see him so enthusiastic. He’s been on the phone telling his friends all about it.

Not as loud outside as I expected. Microphone quit the first day shortly after plugging it in. To me, not worth the $$$
