These are great, but not for use with actual chalk. Works fine with chalk-like permanent markers, but then they're not really reusable.

So cute as placecards. Wrote on them with a white chalk pencil. Advertised as reusable, but the chalk I used did not completely erase. Outside border appears white in picture, but is actually natural wood color.

Super cute, holds in stand well. Downfall is i can't get the chalk off the 2 I used for Thanksgiving. I just read it says not recommended for liquid chalk so I will try with regular chalk and update review after.

Super cute, but we really had to fight to get the posts to fit in the holes. In the end they were prefect for our party and you can’t beat the price.
