Q: Can this be used for an air conditioner?

I am guessing it can be used for an air conditioner. My plan was to use it for a large outdoor patio heater, but I never got around to it. I used it outside at Christmas time in Buffalo NY for lighting. It is more or less waterproof. Now I use it for an electric blanket on the couch.

Q: Is this snow proof/water proof?

The cord is snow proof and water proof, but it will be a risk between connectors when used in a wet environment. Please read the usage guidelines carefully before using them.

Q: can I use this indoors to extend a surge protector with a short cord?

This is a heavy duty cord and would work but, I'd try to use a shorter one if possible.
