These were recommended by my veterinarian, and they even give out samples at their office. They contain quality ingredients, and a limited number of ingredients which I prefer. I have a small dog, so I also appreciate that they have a limited amount of calories per treat. They are soft enough that I’m able to hide his allergy pill in them. I was also able to break one into several pieces for a dog who has missing teeth, and she was able to eat it. They are a fairly small treat, and not so thick that you can’t break them into smaller pieces. My dog is a picky eater, and he’s not treat-motivated, but I’m having success with using these for rewards as I’m trying to get him to stop unnecessary barking. He’s had no digestive issues with them. They’re expensive, and I had to buy a lot of bags on Amazon, but they will last a long time.

I buy these treats for my dogs, this is their favorite treat and the price is good they were delivered in a timely manner, my dogs love the taste of the treats they are soft my dogs are older and they love the soft treats, they are lean treats and they are so good for their weight. These treats are the best!

I’m not going to sugarcoat it — these Covetrus Nutrisential Lean Treats smell absolutely awful. Like “why did I open this inside” awful. But somehow, that’s exactly why my dog goes completely feral for them. My grandpa’s tiny teacup poodle is obsessed. He turns his nose up at most treats, but these? He will come running from the other side of the house. We actually used these to get him off Pupperoni, which is loaded with junk, and now these are his go-to reward. Big win for his health. What I love is that these are lean, protein-focused treats without all the greasy residue and artificial junk. Even though they smell strong, they aren’t oily or crumbly, so they’re easy to break into smaller pieces for training or portion control. They also work great for dogs of all sizes — whether you’ve got a tiny diva like this teacup poodle or a big dog who needs something more filling. Bottom line: They may smell like death to humans, but to dogs, they’re gourmet. If you want a treat your dog will go crazy for — and one that’s healthier than the usual processed stuff — these are absolutely worth it. 🐾

My dog is going on 18 years old. Her last trip to the vet was for a mass on her cheek. The vet tech gave her one of these treats. My girl doesn’t eat treats from anyone unless she is at home. She devoured these. I asked what they were and she showed me and said they were sold on Amazon. I ordered some as soon as I got home and did the subscription so she would always have it. I ordered some for Christmas for some doggie friends. My friends said the same thing. Their dogs devoured them. These are definitely some of the best treats I’ve ever came upon. The fact that they are lean treats is just an added bonus. I think everyone should give these a try. They are very affordable and doggie delicious!!

I’ve known about these treats forever because the vet my family used to go to always recommended them, so I already trusted them. They’re low-cal, soft, and super easy to use—especially for hiding pills. I just press the pill right in, and my dog has zero idea. She thinks she’s getting a treat, which makes giving meds a million times easier. They can be a little pricey, but I grabbed the 3-pack on sale, so it ended up being a great deal. Honestly worth it either way. My dog absolutely loves them, and I love that they’re vet-recommended and actually useful. Highly recommend!
