Questo kit è perfetto perché è adatto a qualsiasi tipo di ferro e vaporella, un vantaggio incredibile considerando che ne utilizza diversi modelli a seconda delle esigenze di lavoro. Lo stick pulisci piastra è estremamente facile da usare e molto efficace nel rimuovere residui dalla piastra del ferro. In pochi secondi si ottiene una piastra pulita e pronta per garantire una stiratura impeccabile, senza macchie o aloni sui tessuti. Anche dopo un uso intensivo, la piastra rimane lucida e performante come se fosse nuova. e poi è universale: non abbiamo bisogno di acquistare prodotti diversi per ciascun modello di ferro, ma usiamo sempre lo stesso per ogni tipo di ferro o vaporella. Doesn't remove what I wanted to remove

The iron I cleaned had melted-on polyester on the sole-plate. I am a scientist, so I set this up very carefully. I used an infrared thermometer to measure the sole-plate temperature. I carefully set the iron so that the measured sole-plate temperature was 60 degrees Celsius (recommended in the instructions), plus or minus 2 degrees Celsius. At this temperature, the stick material melts well to a runny, semi-clear liquid. Don't go overboard, it will get on the iron in places you don't want it (not a huge problem; more on this later). Setting the temperature accurately is important, as at the correct value (60 C) the cleaner does not smell very much at all. Those having trouble will smell are running the iron too hot and burning the cleaner (tested... that does stink). I found that wiping with a dry paper towel (folded so as to be thick enough to insulate you from being burned!) worked very well at removing each application and a portion of the unwanted material from the sole-plate. It took three applications to remove 100% of the polyester that was melted onto the sole-plate, and, indeed, the result looks as good as new! Delightful. Total cleaner used was about 3/4 of one stick. After the first application, I only applied the cleaner where there was remaining polyester. As an added bit of information, the cleaner material (stick) readily dissolves in hot water, so clean-up of any extra drips on the iron or floor is a breeze. If you get it on or in the ironing board cover, just throw it in the wash or rinse in hot water and let it dry... all gone! This is a well designed and very effective product. When employed per the instructions, it is easy to use, works very well and does not smell bad (or much at all).
