Tight fit
This is snug in a Wave+, not as in too small, but secure. After my old holster kept coming off my service belt I decided I needed something better. Leatherman is too expensive a tool to accidentally leave in the back of a searched vehicle. This is it.Latches securely, does not easily slide around on service belt and since it is a secured belt loop it isn’t coming off unless you forcibly ripped through good leather. I don’t see that happening any time soon. Will at least last the lifetime of my belt.

Works Great !
Back in the 1990's when I was working in the Oil industry, we were given a Leatherman tool as a safety award. I've been retired since 2008 and use that tool here on my ranch almost every day. The problem was the cloth case that attaches the tool to my belt. It was getting pretty worn, and I was afraid of losing my Leatherman soon, so I ordered this leather carrying case. It was one of my better decisions! Yes, I have another Leatherman tool that I keep on my "City jeans", but that tool and case are still in good shape. I will definitely buy a replacement case from this company again ---- if needed!---- Socalal

Great Sheath for Wave, though not hardy.
My son loves the Leatherman Wave, and he wears one on his belt using this nice sheath by Leatherman when he is working outdoors. We prefer a leather sheath for looks and feel, however this Leatherman sheath is not a very hardy sheath and does NOT stand up to abuse. I just bought my son a third leather sheath to replace the one I bought less than a month ago because the leather belt loop tore. That one was to replace the one I bought him this summer, which had the snap bust off (but the fit of the Wave was so nice and snug that he could continue to use the sheath for two months until he got the new one.) That said, the fit and feel are great, so we're continuing to fund the company with our repeat purchases. (My sheath does not get abused and is still in great shape, sitting gently in my saddle bag.)

So far, so good (value for product)!
Update: after four years of daily, rugged use, i finally ripped out the rivet. Ill definitely be getting another but im still using the broken oneNow, grant that I've only had this for 2 months, but it sees daily and sometimes pretty rough use. So far, I'm really pleased. In the pictures, the leather looks like the cheap, rigid stuff that your average $3 knife from China comes with, but it's actually good durable quality. Initially very stiff, the leather wore in quickly and became much more supple/pliable. That said, there has been no physical wear/stretching on the snap, cover or belt loops (despite getting into some tight spots and having to shimmy out, dragging my leatherman/case against the wall).I'll update if anything changes.

Fits the Gerber Suspension
The original Gerber Suspension Sheath is showing wear and tear. I purchased another multi purpose sheath that is perfectly fine but tends to stick out excessively when a shirt is over the sheath. This can pose a problem as it appears as if a firearm is on my hip and not my multitool and as I work at a gun unfriendly university better to not cause fear. The Leatherman Leather Sheath fits the need perfectly. While a bit tight at first, there is flexibility and the tool removes from the sheath without issue.

Great investment for the Wave!
Awesome! The stock sheath that my Wave came with started to rip open at the bottom and i feared it falling out so i got this one.Definitely the best decision i made. At first it wad tough to snap shut with the wave in but it just had to be broken in, which it did just with in a couple of hour's. I like it a lot better than the velcro sheath because it feels more secure. If I had any concerns it would be that some thicker belts might not be able to slide through the slot in the back due to it being somewhat tight.Another would be that its not entirely enclosed so it makes it possible for dirt dust and debris to get to the tool but so far mine has stayed clean even after my job of working outside all day.
