I've updated this review from 4 to 5 stars.. customer service was EXCELLENT ! Updated review: they took care of the damaged arm in under 2 days, and have a replacement arm on it's way to me. I can't say enough how happy that makes me. I have to give the chairs 5 stars, and would give customer service 10 stars if I could. I can say I'd highly recommend this seller and this chair. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review: I bought 2 of these, they are really nice chairs.. they look nice and are very comfy, very nice for the price. easy to assemble but I'd recommend 2 people to help hold the pieces as you put them together. however I found the arm of one chair had been damaged in shipping. naturally I had one chair put together and the one with damage about 80% done before noticing.. so I've contacted the company to see if they can send me another "arm" for the chair. I'd have to say it doesn't' appear to be a manufacturing problem, and sending it back after we put it together and threw the boxes away, is likely out of the question. We figure we were out of luck , but thought I'd reach out to the manufacture anyway. I'm hoping for a good result. I can tape it, but it's always disappointing to get something new and it's damaged. new rule at our house.. INSPECT.. INSPECT.. before you get rid of the boxes and assemble any items in the future. so overall, since the damage looks like a shipping problem I'd still recommend this chair, our other one arrived perfectly. the 4 stars is only for the shipping damage. otherwise it would be 5 stars. I may update to 5 stars if the manufacture can send me a replacement arm piece (customer service did in fact send me a replacement) now 5 stars all around !

I've been using this chair for about 8 months now and it is just about worn out. I sit in it 8+ hours a day 6 days a week. I'm 180 lbs. The arm rest pads are pushed out to the sides where I put my arms, the back and but pads are about to the point where I'm going to have to do something. You'll want floor protection as it scratched up my floor quite a bit with the cheap wheels. Overall, it's a decent chair for just over $100. The material has surprisingly held up good. Next time though I'm going to spend the extra money because buying a new chair every year doesn't make sense for me, some it might. It was easy to put together and overall is comfortable enough for what it is.

Buying an office chair without trying it first is always a crap shoot, especially considering how much you're going to use it. It might be great for an hour or so, but all day? Fortunately, this chair is fairly comfortable and while it obviously doesn't compare with a several hundred dollar chair, it does the job competently. I've got a bad back, so any chair will eventually make me sore and this one is no different. However, I can sit in this far longer than any other chair i have. If there was a little bit more padding in the back cushion it might be a little more comfortable, but overall I can't really complain given the price point. Some other reviewers have noted they had problems assembling the chair. I didn't have any problems like that, but I did take my time and started all the bolts first before tightening them. So basically I started each bolt, just threading a few turns each, and then came back through again tightening completely. It's a good idea to leave the bolt caps off since you will want to come back and tighten the bolts again after a day or two since they will work loose a bit during that first break-in. I did have a problem with the seat base. Two of the wheels broke out of the base on the second day of use. I contacted customer support and they were very responsive. After trading a couple emails, we agreed a replacement base would be the easiest way to resolve the problem. A couple days later, I had the replacement base. Problem solved. Altogether a great purchase...

I have purchases two of these chairs within a year and both of them have broken and become unusable. The first chair lasted about nine months before the cylinder was unable to keep the chair at a set height and I just wrote it off as being a defective item. The chair was comfortable and the height was perfect for my needs, so I decided to give this brand a second chance and purchased another, identical chair. The second chair lasted about two months before the knob on the front exploded (while I was sitting in it, which was kind of scary) and broke apart, and now the chair leans all the way back all all of the time unless you physically hold it forward by sitting in it. However, this is dangerous to do because if you ever forget and decide to lean back, the chair will suddenly shoot all the way and you can easily end up falling out of the chair backwards and hit your head on the floor. I logged into Amazon to try and return the second chair, but I was told that the item is no longer eligible for a refund or return. So, I basically paid around $100 at the time to get two months of use out of an office chair that almost caused me physical harm. The product description says it can support a person of up to 300lbs, but I feel like this can not possibly be the case since both chairs broke on me even though I am well below that weight limit. So, the only possible explanation is that this chair is made of the lowest quality parts that are legally allowed to be sold to a consumer. I highly recommend you avoid this chair and choose something better.
