For the price as was the cheapest I could find. Works very well. I go away camping in 2 days for 5 days and needed an electric cool box. Done a trial for 2 days at home plugged in and it gets cold pretty quick. Comes with car attachment to plug in for long journeys too

Works well, keeps everything chilled

Reasonable size, comes with a divider, mains and car leads (make sure you switch to the correct settings AC/DC) worked well while staying at budget hotel. Only issue we came across was having to empty the condensation every day. Other issue was if you want to open the lid, you have to unplug it or as I tended to do was just latch it up to the lead. Only used it for 5 days so far, hopefully will continue to come in handy. Noise level didn’t effect us as we had air conditioning run so they countered out each other, so if you are a very light sleeper and need total silence, this might become a problem. Reasonable price.

Useless - as bad or worse than a basic insulated one

Am in a four storey house, bedroom at the top, kitchen in basement, bought this to keep milk and butter cool, so breakfast could be enjoyed before going downstairs. It is set up in "office" next to bedroom, so the fairly loud humming doesn't disturb ones sleep.Use several ice blocks placed over the top of the food to achieve the coolest temperature possible, and change these every day. They produce some water/condensation as they warm up, but kitchen paper solves that problem. Lid removes completely for easy cleaning.Ideal solution.

You have to unplug power to get something out of it.
