メモリー増設でPCがよみがえった
Core i7-8700・８GBメモリー・HDDのデスクトップPCがWin11にアップデートすると重いのでまずはHDDをSSDに換装しました。かなりキビキビ動くようになりました。 それでも画像編集などで一瞬フリーズするのでタスクマネージャーを確認するとメモリーが80％台でしたのでメモリーも増設することにしました。本品を増設したところウェブブラウザ2つ・オフィス・ThunderBird・コンパネ・タスクマネージャーを同時起動しても50%台になりました。 これで数年くらいはこのPCを使い続けられそうです。

古いPCは買い替えましょう
商品そのものは問題ないと思うけど、やはり受入れPCの状態で結果が左右されるみたいな。 私の場合は増設してすぐの時は何かと不具合があり、手探りでなんとか正常にもどりました。 私のような設定に疎い人は"古いPCにメモリー増設すればパフォーマンス復活する"とか考えず、 はじめから多めのメモリーで買い替えしたほうが無難です。 PCも経年劣化(処理速度低下)する。それを増設でリカバリーしようとしても時間と金の無駄かもしれません。
