I was looking for a medium length XLR cable and happened across this four pack of 2 meter (around 6 foot) cables. My application is setting up a variety of arrangements for church services where the audio is used locally and is streamed online. The idea of multiple shorter cables had appeal because they could be used flexibly to make a longer cable or a number of short cables. Connector quality would be key when "daisy chaining" the cable to make a single longer one. These cables arrived individually well packed. The cable and connectors are black to the connectors are not obvious if making a long cable. The quality appears good and, after making a long cable, I found the result to be noise free even with higher gains. I also testes cables with an in-line pre-amp powered by "phantom" 48V power and it worked great. The cable is flexible enough to easily lay flat which is key to appearance and safety. The cable connectors latch smoothly but with a clear latch that won't accidently pull apart. minor hint, check that the connector hoods are all tight (one was slightly loose, it took just a twist by hand to tighten, only a cosmetic issue.) This four-pack was something I didn't realize I needed but will be using a lot. Highly recommended.

These cables are great for running between lights placed on the floor as architectural or landscape lighting. The 6-foot length is perfect for the job and ensures there's not a ton of cabling bunched up at each light.

I'm a working mobile DJ, the guy you're most likely to run into at a wedding, company picnic or summer fair. When this box of four XLRs came in, I was set to do a ceremony and wedding at a golf and country club. So I thought that a fair test of how well these carry signal is to put them in as my main signal cables from my console to my main amp.If you're wondering what you're looking at in that first photo, it's the very space-specific box the cables came in as I busted into them during setup. The four cables were neatly coiled in plastic zip bags. The outer insulation is supple and the connectors solid. I ran my system hard, all night, without a hint of degraded sound. They check all the boxes. If you're using XLR, then, I can't think of a single reason not to order these up immediately.

2 meters is a useful length to interconnect equipment.Well designed XLR connectors. All the bits and bobs will only fit together the correct way. The cable clamp also surrounds and insulates the conductors inside the connector. A much better idea than the plastic tube that many connectors use. The clamp grips the outer cover of the cable tightly, making it less likely that you will pull the wire out of the connector when (ab)using it. The pins appear to be tin plated, not gold.The solder joints between the connectors and cable conductors were excellent in the cables I disassembled to inspect. No blobs, no starved joints. Goldilocks would be happy.The conductors themselves are 24 AWG. On the small side, but the good connector design makes it unlikely you will break them when plugging/unplugging, and short cables don't take near the abuse mic cables do, so I'm fine with them.The cable jacket is flexible black PVC.Good cables. I'll probably end up getting more.

I needed some DMX cable for the stage/DJ lights that I have. These are really good DMX cables at an excellent value per cable. I got the four pack of the 6.5 foot DMX cables.The cables all have a good thick rubber sleeve with metal collars on the connector sides. I disassembled the connector plugs, they are all well soldered where the wires meet the pin tabs. All of the wires are shielded throughout the rubber sleeves. The DMX cables all had a good tight connections to the stage lights and all of the lights communicated well through the cables. So they work and work well. I need to get more of these cables for the rest of my equipment. 5 stars.

You can't have enough of these short DMX cables and you should always carry extras.These cables are top notch and made form great materials. The terminal ends screw off to allow you to make field repairs if needed and they always seem to be needed.The cable jacket is rugged and could survive mild abuse, but the shot cables are usually used in a static position and could only get damaged during transport if you're not careful with them.A great product and a very good price point. Get some!
