Wenger15.6-Inch Legacy Top-Load Triple Gusset Notebook Case

Just received my case and overall am very happy. I wanted to advise on a few additional things for prospective purchasers which were not mentioned in the other reviews:- Amazon's product dimensions are not correct (they say 15.3 x 13.5 x 5.4 inches). The actual sizes (per the product tag) are:computer pocket: 15.35 x 1.75 x 11 inchesexterior dimensions: 16.5 x 8 (which it can expand out to) x 13.5 inches- I have a 15.6 inch screen laptop (an HP dv6). The exterior dimensions are 14 and 7 eighth's by 10 inches. It fits snugly within the pocket meant to hold the laptop (whose interior edges are lined by a red colored foam pad, for a bit more protection). My laptop fits snuggly edge to edge inside without stretching the pocket and pushing tightly up against the red foam. But it literally is edge to edge without any inside slack. If your laptop is bigger than 15x10, then you'll be squeezing it into the pocket.- The bag essentially has four pockets (an edge padded computer pocket; two interior pockets; and an external accessories pocket, which is almost as roomy as the others). The zipper fobs for the laptop pocket and the adjoining interior pocket have the little round holes to allow you to put a security lock. The zippers for the other two pockets do not.- The pockets can fit a lot of stuff but are not overly super large/roomy like a back pack or large messenger bag/satchel. You can easily fit a bunch of papers and probably a couple of thin binders, but if you're thinking of lugging around a few large books this case isn't meant for it. But then again, it's supposed to be a "laptop case". Keep in mind the interior is about 15x11.- The bottom of the bag has a set of four sturdy feet which will help protect the bottom from wear & tear.- the top of the shoulder strap is padded (about 2.5 inches wide). The strap fully extended allows the top of the case to come down to your belt line.- the end hooks of the shoulder straps are fixed and not the "swiveling" type.- there are two separate thin handles with a thin vinyl covering. Inside the fabric of each handle it feels like they inserted a curved metal bar (or some sturdy bar). This definitely helps with the overall comfort and support if you're going to be carrying the case by hand. If these internal support bars were not there, then the handle fabric would feel more like it's cutting into your palm as you're carrying it.- in the accessories section, there are several pockets of varying sizes for all sorts of things. Amongst the pockets are three rear ones (sewn against the wall) which are narrow and very deep (almost seven inches deep). One of them is wide enough that I can fit my whole hand into it. But the other two I can barely get my fingers a few inches down (if I dropped small items into these I wouldn't be able to dig them out). Because of this, I wouldn't use these particular pockets, but it doesn't matter to me because there are several other ones.

I bought this to replace a Case Logic case for my 15.6-inch Toshiba laptop. The stitching on the old case began to unravel and the bag quickly started falling apart after four years of moderate use. My new Wenger SwissGear case isn't as large or as bulkly, but it holds nearly as much. It also seems to be made of stronger material and is better constructed. Time will tell if it lasts as long.I thought I'd miss all the extra storage pouches and zippered pockets of my old case. However, I don't because I can now find everything faster and easier. I also discovered that having extra storage caused me to lug around many things that I never used.The most important factor for me is being able to have room to carry everything I need to operate my laptop (mouse, power supply, ethernet cable, external hard drive, flash drives, etc.) and have an area in which to carry a notepad and extra papers.Pros:- Made from sturdy material and solidly constructed- Laptop storage area is well padded on both sides and the bottom- Four separate storage areas with plenty of space for essential items and extras- Comfortably padded, adjustable carrying strap- Metal zipper pulls are easy to see and grasp- Attractive styling and appearance- Light, relatively compact and easy to carryCons:- Some of the interior storage pockets are too narrow and too deep- A single handle would be preferable to a double handle- Some pen holders on inside the front pocket would have been niceOverall, I'm very satisfied with the Wenger SwissGear Legacy laptop case. It's an excellent choice for those who want a case that gives you the ability to carry around more than just the bare essentials.

I chose this bag over relatively cheap (~$150) leather laptop bags. For a young professional this is a great bag. Swiss Gear has a good reputation and holds up very well.There is a lot more space than I expected in the front "utility" type pocket. All the bulge that you can see in the product picture is contained within that front pocket. The laptop pocket has less padding than I expected, but I doubt this will be an issue. Also, because my laptop (14" Thinkpad) is not wide enough to fill the entire space, when carrying with the shoulder strap the sides of the bag fold inward slightly.I would recommend to a friend.

I have used this laptop case for approximately one month now; it has performed to my expectations. As always I was hestitant to purchase over the web, not being able to see the product. I went to a local office supply store and could not find this bag but determined that I liked the triple gusset bags that they had available at a higher price. This bag has plenty of room to carry multiple files both personal and work related with room in the front to store the media, pens, mouse, etc.. If there is a downfall it would be that the strap is not removable nor is it adjustable, as an average size person (5'10") the bag fits perfect and is comfortable to carry; however, i could see this as a potential problem if i was much taller or much shorter. overall great bag though.

I've been more than pleased with the purchase of this Wenger 15.6' notebook case. I'd looked around different stores in the mall and had noticed this brand in one of them, but they didn't carry the size I needed. I found this on Amazon and did some additional research on it and was certain this would meet my needs. Having used the product for over 3 weeks now, I can say I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. Good quality, clean and professional design, great use of compartments, and the airport check friendly design is a great time saver when going through security. I would definitely recommend others to try this.

L'ho presa per mia moglie. Vuota non è leggerissima ma questo è un bene a mio parere perchè significa che l'imbottitura è reale. L'ho trovata valida in tutto. I quattro scomparti sono comodi da aprire e da riempire. Comodissima anche in aereo. La cinghia per la tracolla è robusta e sostiene ed è una delle poche borse a non scivolare dalla spalla quando si indossa ad esempio un piumino. Le cerniere scorrono bene, non inceppano e sono belle sia da vedere sia da impugnare. I quattro piedini di gomma la rendono "stabile" ma soprattutto non la fanno scivolare quando come spesso accade la si appoggia a lato del gambo di una scrivania.Si lava comodamente e devo dire che mia moglie è molto soddisfatta. Nonostante venga "maltrattata" questa borsa non dà segni di cedimento.Prdotto consigliatissimo.Spedizione e imballaggio su Amazon veloce ed efficiente.

Cette sacoche est adaptée aux ordinateurs portables 17". Elle présente 3 grands compartiments et un petit compartiment antérieur. Dans un cadre professionnel, ce produit est idéal pour transporter son PC, ses documents et sa gamelle du midi (placés individuellement dans chacun des 3 compartiments). Le plus petit compartiment permet de loger agenda, pointeur, stylos, post-it, etc.Testée lors d'un déplacement de 3 jours, elle possède suffisamment d'espace pour loger en plus des affaires de toilette et quelques vêtements. Cela permet de s'affranchir d'un sac de voyage supplémentaire (intéressant lorsque le nombre de bagages est limité comme avec certaines compagnies aériennes).Ne possédant pas de roues (et donc sacoche assez légère malgré son gabarit), une bandoulière est disponible.Seuls bémols : (1) la bandoulière ne peut être décrochée et il faut la réduire afin de la plaquer contre le bord inférieur de la sacoche si on ne souhaite pas l'utiliser, elle se salit donc assez facilement selon où on pose la sacoche et lorsqu'on porte l'ensemble sur l'épaule, cela peut salir la veste ; (2) les poignées sont assez fines et il faut voir dans le temps si elles tiendront le coup.En conclusion, un bon produit certes nettement plus onéreux que d'autres, mais la qualité des coutures, la solidité globale du produit et l'espace des compartiments justifient cette différence de coût. En comparaison avec mes anciennes sacoches commercialisées par les fournisseurs d'ordinateurs, celle-ci est bien au-dessus en termes de qualités.

So here's what I get in:Back Compartment - Laptop + Cooling base + Power lead + Mouse (is a slight squeeze to get all in)Middle Compartment - Tablet (10.1 inch) + tablet charger + phone charge + headphones (foldable) + portable speakerMiddle-Front Compartment - 2 portable hard drives + couple of CD's + any paper work / documents I have (this is least full compartment or me)Front Compartment - All my leads and adpaters in the front mesh pocket (which is quite large) + pens/pencils + tablets (medication not electrical) + little bits and bobs like screen wipesSo I must admit it is a great bag and holds all the above and remains fairly compact overall and easy to carry... however....... some reviews make the bag sound massive like it can hold everything. However I have tried putting a second laptop with charger into the bag (along with everything else) and unfortunately it just crams everything and is not great. The problem is the internal compartments stretch into each other so if one compartment is overloaded it will take up space in the next compartment. By adding a second laptop (squeezed in) it makes the whole bag bulge and I feared for the zips.Overall it is a great bag and I work away so I use this bag every day (had it +6 months so far) and the quality and durability are second to none. Personally I need a slightly bigger bag but then I am a technophile and have far too many gadgets!!!Highly recomended

Ich habe die Tasche inzwischen seit über einem Jahr und bin sehr zufrieden damit.Das Gesamtdesign gefällt mir. Das Laptop-Fach ist gut gepolstert, die anderen Fächer bieten genug Raum für Zubehör, Papierkram etc. Die Reißverschlüsse und deren Griffe funktionieren gut und machen einen stabilen Eindruck.Ein winziges Manko ist der Tragegurt. Die Gurtlänge lässt sich beidseitig einstellen, so dass die Position des gepolsterten Bereichs variabel ist (dieser Bereich ist fest im Gurt und kann nicht selbst verschoben werden). Bei voll gepackter Tasche verschiebt sich die Länge manchmal, so dass ich sie alle paar Wochen korrigieren muss. Die flache Schnalle, die Tasche und Gurt verbindet führt manchmal dazu, dass der Gurt sich etwas zusammenrollt - da hatte ich schon andere Taschen, die das besser gelöst haben.Insgesamt überwiegt die Gesamtqualität und Haltbarkeit für mich, so dass ich trotz der genannten Einschränkung volle Punktzahl vergebe.

Good quality and spacious. Bought as gift and recipient loves it.
