Good pot for soup
Nice pot. Durable, lid looks perfectly, no leaking, and perfect for making a big pot of soup on rainy days.

Nice quality pot
I needed a new pasta pot with a locking strainer lid. I'd wore my anodized pot to the point the bare aluminum was coming through. This pot is narrower and tall than the previous. The nice thing is the pasta no longer boils over. With my aluminum pot, I would have to constantly watch the starch didn't cause it to boil over. With the new stainless steel - there's no issue at all. I don't know if it is the material or the shape. But, it's a nice surprise. Lid is held securely and is easy to get on/off. Great value for the money.

Make straining hot liquids safe and easy
This 6 Qt pot has the right depth and width for our gas stove top cooking. Good quality without being too heavy.

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE?!
This pot has changed my life!! I only wish I'd known about it sooner!! I make pasta/rice/stuff that needs to be strained just about every other day of the week. We eat alot of rice and pasta haha I am done using traditional strainers because I am a germaphobe and don't like to have the strainer in the sink and the thought of that strained water overflowing yucky sink water into my pasta grosses me out. So then I tried the kind of strainer that stretches across the sink, and that worked okay, but it was a struggle to get the pasta back into the pot when it was done draining and I always ended up making a mess transferring it. I also never liked the built in strianer pots because the pasta would stick to the strainer holes and wouls be such a mess to clean up. But THIS pot solves all of those problems!!!! This pot is bigger than it looks - it is narrow so it looks small, but it holds a TON of water! It is also so lightweight and easy to clean, I love that it is dishwasher safe! It does take awhile to heat up, maybe ten or so munutes, especially when you fill it with alot of water, but that is to be expected, especially since it has holes that release some of the steam. But I just plan ahead and get it going early since I know it takes a minute. One of the best features about this pot is the handles, they don't get hot! They get warm, but I have not ended up needing oven mitts to hold the handles at all. And lastly, the best feature of all, the straining lid! It is pretty easy to figure out, it took me a few tries to figure out which way to spin for a good lock and how to unlock it. It's super important to make sure it is locked properly, so give the lid handle a few pulls to make sure it's secure before straining! I am going to buy another one as soon as I can afford it, and I highly recommend this pot!

Very usefull, not only for pasta
Im loving this pot and the straining cover is all I needed. It is fine for pasta, as advertised but it does fab with all your veggies, potatos... anything you want to boil. Yes it is big and gets heavy, but no extra just manage the amount of water, even for pasta you actually dont need that much. If I could improvement something would be the handles as they get hot and you are going to need a cloth to maneuvre, an improve in the handles would be great in that way. Quality is nice and peace ot stainless steel

Nice
The pot is nice, I wish the handles came out a little further, so I could get a better grip without burning my hands on the side of the pot. The locking feature seems to work well, and it is a convenient pot to make spaghetti or potatoes.

It’s my “go to” soup / pasta / sauce pot.
Bought this due to the versatility of the size and design. It’s not too big nor too small for our everyday cooking needs. We no longer have a cookware set due to a recent move and needed a pot to cover most of what we use a pot for: pasta and soup for two. We also specifically looked for a pot with a lid with a built-in strainer to have more versatility as we had this is our previous set and found it came in handy. Overall, a solid purchase that has stood up well to frequent use.

Our previous pot didn't work well on the new induction hob, so we had to replace it. The first test cooking pasta with this pot was a resounding success. The handles did not get as hot as I had feared, the lid closes tightly with no chance of spillage. For now highly recommended.

The quality and base thickness is great. These are comparable to some of the high end ones at 1/4 of the cost. Great large size for cooking pasta, rice or stew. The built in simple strainer locking mechanism is commendable. P.s I have only used them on a gas range.

I really want to love it. But whenever i decide tomuse it, its takes forever for water to boil on an electric stove and once it boils and you drop the pasta inside, it takes another while to boil again… I am not sure how to rate it…?! But these are my observations…..
