Simplified Engineering for Architects and Builders, 12th Edition Paperback – January 1, 2016

This is one of my go to references on my desk. This book provides the exact calculations needed for structural engineering with good explanations. I would recommend this book to any starting architect. The explanations are easy to follow and the diagrams are helpful. The first chapter starts with a good explanation for the properties of forces and then goes to shear/bending and onto different materials. Having a basis course in structural mechanics might be helpful with this book however if you are self starter then this book is for you.

Bought this used, came in great condition. Thanks to the previous owner for taking care of it.

Great book, I'm learning all lot from this book!

Great book for school.

Terrible experience with the digital version of this textbook. Page numbers don't match the physical copy, and many diagrams are split between pages making them incredibly difficult to follow. For being priced the same as the actual textbook I'd expect better. Do yourself a favor and get the physical copy.

Ordered the book in New condition, but the majority of the pages are coming off the spine. Pages themselves and front/back cover are in good condition, but this can't be sold as a new product, because it clearly isn't. Hoping this will get me through two semesters without falling apart completely.
