If you're in good shape (a.k.a. skinny/fit torso) you may not need this, but I'm not so I do. I have one particular IWB holster that has always dug into my belly and sides, enough that I had to stop wearing it because it was causing skin irritation. This pad took care of that for me. It comes with 6 adhesive-backed velcro dots that go on your Kydex/polymer holster however you think they will best serve your needs, then you just press the velcro side of the pad onto the dots and you're done. No more discomfort, and you can keep using your favorite holster. You should let the dots sit for a short while before trying to apply the pad, so that the adhesive bonds properly and you don't end up ripping one of the dots off like I did when you try to move the pad. I attached, then tried to move the pad less than a minute after I had applied the dots, and one came up. I've had no issues since then, and I've been carrying it several hours a day for two weeks. I would attach the pad and carry it for a day, then move the pad trying to get it exactly where I wanted. Each time (except the hasty first time) the velcro dots stayed on the holster, and the pad re-attached securely. Very comfortable now, well worth the modest price.

I have been dealing with stomach issue for years, have issues eating, and lost so much weight that I look like a stick figure. Side carrying was extremely painful for me because I have zero body fat and the Kydex holster would dig into my pelvic bone really bad when walking or picking something up off the ground. This bit of padding has made a huge difference. So far, I have had no pain at all while walking the dog or bending over. Being a velcro attachment system, i just hope the velcro holds up. I hope the round tabs stay adhered to the Kydex and Velcro also has a tendency to get plugged up with hair for us dog owners and lose its adhesion. It’s also damn near impossible to get dog hair out of velcro. Those are my only concerns. If it loses its adherence, I may try using a 2-part epoxy to put it back on permanently

Fits the smallest snub nose revolvers, and the longest barrel 1911s. Extremely comfortable and built well.

Super comfortable. Even when driving, I almost returned this holster until this pad. it does get really hot but it’s worth it to not have kydex jagging me. A lot thinner than gunzee, photo is a X macro with the smallest size pad

When I bought this product, I was hoping for something similar to a foam concealment wedge. On seeing the product in person, I was initially disappointed when I realized that it was a large, thin, flat pad. Still, I figured I'd give it a try and I'm really glad I did. While a foam wedge improves concealment by pushing your grips towards your body, the sticky comfort pad improves draw speed and comfort by preventing your holster from sliding down as you move about. This is easily one of the best mistaken purchases I've made, and I'm pretty pleased with how the pad performs.

The sizing in the picture is not even close to being correct. I was expecting 8.5” long as what shows in the picture. This size (Small) is just under 6.25” long. I have a micro compact and it doesn’t cover all of it. I need it to cover the bottom, and top as both irritate my side. The directions card that came with it list the dimensions of all 3 sizes. None match the advertised dimensions in the pictures of each size’s ad. Small: 6.25”x3.75”. Medium 7.25”x3.75”. Large: 8.25”x3.75”. Leaving 3 stars simply for inconvenience of false sizing advertising and having to return.
