Are the words from the 90s version, or have the words been updated to reflect current times?

The words are from the 90's, but are they DUPLICATES of the original? I am looking for more discs. We have the first edition memorized! :)

Are there inappropriate words in this edition? I want to play with my kids, but am cautious about having to explain words that are not age appropriate

I wouldn't say that has been a huge issue. I don't remember specific examples, but yes we have quickly skipped over a few words, here and there. Luckily, my kids either didn't know what the word was, or it happened to be my turn at the time. I am a very conservative mom of a 13 & 10 year old.
