I used this to glue together biscuit jointed table edges which were sash cramped for 16 hours, dry wood and glued indoors in the warm. As soon as the cramps were removed, they started to creep out of adhesion and eventually had to take whole thing apart where I found much of the glue had become a gel rather than a hard substance. Took days more for glue to harden In future i will take the risk of using the dark brown gorilla glue which is terribly hard to work cleanly with as it expands an stains your hands, but will at least hold stuff together.

If you want good adhesion when glueing timber you would be hard pressed to find better than this glue. Also cheaper on Amazon than Screwfix and you don’t have to drive to the shop when you have prime.

Evostick - you're buying this because you know what it's about and capable of. It's the best wood glue I've tried and seriously strong stuff. I've glued 50kg of blanks together (for a table) and this stuff held it without screws (obviously added later though).

I have used this product extensively in the past and always found it very good,hence I chose it again. In this instance I was assembling flat pack chairs and wished to ensure the strength and rigidity.Excellent as always.

I am using this wood glue for laying a solid oak floor. The planks are tong and grooved. This glue is ideal for squirting into the groove to form a permanent fix between the planks. It dries clear and therefore blends in with the colour of the oak. Have used this glue before and will use again in future. Highly recommended.
