Great fast running mini pc
The SEI8 Beelink mini pc is a great equipped mini pc. The included instructions were very easy to follow and the qr codes in the manual linked me out to additional tutorials and setup videos I was able to have the mini pc up and running and to the home screen within 10 minutes of boot up. Windows 11 runs great on this computer and it boots up very fast with the 500 gb ssd that is pre-installed. Multi tasking had been seemless with the 16 gb of ram that is included I have been able to have many browser windows open and also using other applications at the same time without closing the browser without any issues of slowing down. Gaming on this computer has been excellent as well I have not played games in years but this machine runs them very well everything from emulators. The sonic colors game, steam games everything seems to run smoothly and looks great. The amount of use ports makes it easy to use multiple peripherals such as mouse, phone charger, keyboard etc. Whether you like games, music production , work and productivity this mini pc seems to be a great setup and a great value!

Big punch of power in a tiny little box
Ok guys, when it comes to mini Pc's, this has got to be the top. From the processor, to the amount of RAM, even down to the SSD inside with an expansion slot...I mean come on! Something this small should not have room for additional hard drives! But inside is has a 2.5" port for an additional SSD. It already has 512gb.The processor can be overclocks to 4.1ghz if you are an overachiever, and the ram at 16gb is a lot considering its size. It does come with a mounting plate so you can mount it to the back of a monitor in where the wall mount is. Which makes it nice to just plug it in and forget its there. Ideally you wont have a single wire showing. It also has 2 hdmi cables and ports if you want to use dual monitors. The exhaust is well thought out, it has dual vents on each side and a exhaust on the back, so you wont have to worry about heating issues. Even the way it looks it has a nice space grey color to it and would look great on any desk, with quick access ports in front. If you are in the market fo a new computer, bigger is not always better, save yourself the space and get this, i didnt regret it and neither will you.

I like the format with the small footprint.
It works okay, although it goes to sleep at times without my permission. It's small, so that worked well on my small desktop. The HDMI and USB ports were nice and enough for my needs. It's okay for the state of current personal computers.

Tiny Powerhouse
The media could not be loaded. In addition to its compact size, this tiny mini PC offers two RAM slots for even faster operations. In fact, it performs better than my current laptop. I got a cheap travel laptop with the same CPU (8th gen i5-8279U) and I love how fast it is. Having two RAM slots definitely makes a difference. This CPU appears to be a viable choice for the most recent cost-effective devices. I did not notice a significant difference from my wife's 11th gen i5 laptop. It was disappointing that it did not come with the SATA harness cables for adding additional storage, as it was shown on several YouTube videos. In the video I posted, you can hear the fan noise. The noise is neither loud nor quiet. It supports 4K displays without any problems. It is an excellent value, especially with a coupon. A VESA mount is included!

Buyer beware - randomly shutting down after about 5 months - updated with customer service exp
Worked ok for the first 5 months or so. Was using it as a media server. Then I would randomly notice it had shut down and restarted when I would log in(sometimes it wouldn't restart). After blowing it out to make sure it didn't get something inside it or too much dust, and keeping a fan on it, it still kept happening. Looking at Beelinks forums, this seems par for the course for quite a few people, and it can be anything from a bad power supply to the rubber on the power button expanding on the inside, to the motherboard being too tightly screwed in, bad memory etc. Makes me think there is a quality control issue if it is this many random issues for something this small and simple.Guess I will now work with their support for weeks to get back what I wanted to be very simple and invisible. Could have kept running it off a desktop but wanted this to have it tucked away and something I could ignore and just have work.Update: After working with support for a while, still no resolution. Going on 5 weeks. Having to take it apart for them and send pictures. This includes removing the entire motherboard since the fan is on the bottom of it, so they could see which kind I had. Finally had to send it back to them (on my dime) and it has been over a week now with no word from them after receiving it, when they originally said they will just replace it. Hours of working on this for a $300 computer meant to save me time by having it always on...After 7 weeks the replacement arrived today. We shall see if it has the same overheating issue when playing any video for extended periods of time on the screen in a browser.Stay far away unless you are ok risking it not working and just eating the loss. The customer service/tech support has been very frustrating at best, infuriating at worse.
