I found this worked so nicely for making small arrangements with my garden flowers. I recently purchased some lovely vintage cut glass dishes. They are too shallow to hold flowers. However using these flower frogs I was able to make some pretty little arrangements. The suction cups help hold the frogs to the bottom of the container. While it did not stick well to the curved bottom of one container, adding just a few decorative rocks or glass stones did the trick to help secure it to the container. Another advantage of using these is that you can use just a small amount of water to keep your flowers fresh and prevent that slimy, yucky mess that sometimes occurs when placing the full stem in water.

I wasn't sure what to expect based on some of the other reviews from people who had problems with these not having enough suction, and that the prongs weren't long or sharp enough. With a wedding coming up and needing to put together lots of table bouquets, I thought I'd give them a try. Sampled the product immediately upon arrival. It worked impressively well with every stem I tried on with it. I even tried using softer stems from a older bouquet I had in the house, and it held everything beautifully in place exactly where I put it. Finally, I tried repositioning the softer, older blooms multiple times to see if the frogs were sharp enough to grip them, and it was no problem whatsoever. I'm really impressed and super happy that these perform so well. Zero problem with needing to repress the suction disc down even after messing around with all the variations of stem positioning. No floating problems! Yay!! A great product at a great value and my task just got way easier. I'm confident these will be great for the reception! And will be reusable for quite some time after as well.

It’s good.. I like that it’s clear. The only thing, because it’s plastic you cannot use it for sturdier stems or tree branches. So metal ones def better. Sometimes the suction also doesn’t stick and everything bends on one side lol. I use it to play with flowers in my shop but definitely wouldn’t use for an event or a wedding where you need everything to be secure and work perfectly.

After buying a few different kinds, these ended up being the win. I have ordered them now multiple times and will continue to use them if you’re doing an event or wedding and need multiple of these definitely buy!!

Definitely doable for ikebana, as long as the plate or the vase has a flat bottom surface then the suction cups will work.

The size is just right — not too big, not too small — and fits well in most vases and containers. They hold flower stems securely in place, making it easy to create beautiful arrangements. The plastic is sturdy and reusable, and getting 8 pieces in a pack is such a great deal. Highly recommend for weddings, events, or everyday use!

I thought it was nice that there were so many of these in a pack and that they came in a little storage container instead of a bag or something. They worked okay, but the stakes weren't really long enough to hold my flowers in place. I would have liked if the spikes were taller. Also the suction cups weren't super great, but they also weren't terrible.

Not super sturdy but def got the job done. Used with ice cream bowls to create meadows and they turned out gorgeous!!
