The Standing Stones of Callanish

I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am with this seller! I am an avid admirer of Jon Mark, and when I saw it available for roughly $5 I could not believe it! And it came beautifully wrapped and in excellent condition! Highly recommend!

I've been listening to The Standing Stones of Callanish for over 30 years. I've worn out 2 cassettes abd 2 CD's. This was my third CD. I love it. I was born in Britain and this music takes me there. All I have to do is play it and I'm there, at the Stones.

I sure do love this album. Wore out my tape years ago and kinda forgot about it until coming across it here. It again captivates my heart with the mystic, misty, washed with heather lovely experience. Great for massage, yoga, sleep. One of my faves.

so thrilled to hear this again finally on cd... i listened to my old cassets until they wore out over the years, i can listen to this cd every day all day and all night and NEVER tire of it... it actually remins me of about a 15 year "era" of my life SO happy to have it back in my possession!

I have purchased Jon Mark recordings before and this one is again a very uplifting recording. Well recorded and I play it on a very regular basis at least once a week.

I bought this CD because I like Autumn Leaves Fall One by One.

Unknown prehistoric rock formationsinspired the compositions. I thinkthis is early Celtic?

I use this as a mood track for doing Reiki sessions and stretching classes. My clients find it soothing and calming.

Having visited the Standing Stones at Callanish I found this album spoke to me. The music brings the stones to life. One of my favourite Pagan CDs.

Tendency towards the soporific.Though in fairness I have not continually played it so it may prove to be a grower.Much prefer his work with Johnny Almond a great jazz-rock partnership and well worth checking out.See also Mayall's Beyond the Turning Point.

Somewhat eerie and haunting-like music, but so beautiful...really worth a listen! I highly recommend it! You can't go wrong with it.
