Works great, with the backlight and extra screen you can always see what it's reading.
I like the screen on the bottom, I did add the magnet and use it everyday at work.

Meter works well for my needs. I am using it for solar panel and system testing. I like the meter and the display at the bottom so you can see it from the main screen or the end of the meter.

Great but wish beeps could be disabled
I wish there was a way to silence the beeps. Beeps are very handy normally, but can get annoying, and super loud. I don't need to know I'm working on more than 30v. I knew that before I started. (lol)

I have been using the Ideal clamp on meters for about 20 years now and it is amazing. Very sensitive and makes troubleshooting much easier. The new functions on this model make it even easier to use. They improved the rubber molding too so it will likely not be attacked by oil like the old ones were. The door on the bottom that would flop loosely is gone too. The flashlight and voltage detection is great too. Fantastic tool.

Great product. Seems solid, feels solid, double insulation protected, certified to be sold and used in Canada. Is it professional quality? I can't tell since I'm not an electrician, but certainly a great tool for a homeowner. Clamp is a bit on the thick side, but does the job. I like the second screen on the bottom, it really helps taking readings in tight spaces. I also like that it has non contact live wire detection. Would've been nice it it could detect live electrical outlet, but it don't. Probably because the wires must be a bit too far and/or sensor not sensitive enough. I was looking a clamp ammeter that can measure both AC and DC amperage and this one does it and is still affordable. It has a little built-in flashlight which is nice when cutting power or working in dark corners. The clamp has a probe holder which help not having to have 3 hands when taking measurements with the probes.
