Best rake ever and I have been through many. Last set I thought I could purchase larger so I could clean up after my three Corgis. Thought was incomplete because a filled collector is heavy and clumsy too empty. This is the perfect size and although the collector seems small it holds a surprisingly large amount. Do I make a few more trips to large bin, of course but it's easy to manage and even full not too heavy. Metal construction makes cleaning a breeze and takes the punishment that family members do to it as they simply throw it on the ground. Busted those cheap plastic one and am extremely happy that I found this product. Three Corgis may not equal one Great Dane but I have used it to also pickup cow manure as neighbors calf seems to constantly get under electric fence. Still holds up perfectly fine. Great product, reasonably priced and sure makes this individual, who has a Movement Disorder, life better. If you don't have one I feel sorry for you. Get it and make an unpleasant job much easier. (Oh, forgot to say I have a half acre fenced in backyard and yes the Corgis relieve themselves wherever the need arises!)

Love it, love it, love it! We have a Great Dane that poops mountains and a Boston Terrier. It was time to replace our old pooper scooper and after much debate, we settled on this product. I hate the scoopers with claw handle because I feel like they always break, but that seems to be all the rage right now. It was hard finding a decently rated scooper that wasn't that style and even though this product had few reviews, we decided to give it a try. It worked amazing and I don't know why we didn't upgrade sooner. Our old scooper has a smaller tray and instead of a rake it has a plastic piece with a flat scraping surface. It was hard to get poop that is stuck in the grass but with the rake, the metal phalanges get between the grass and easily scoop out the crap and the tray is the perfect size, not too big or too small. I love it and if you are in the market this is a great option.***Update***I have now been using this six months and I like it just as much now as I did when I initially bought it. It still works great and it has proven to be durable over time. Great product!

I liked the solid handles instead of plastic assemble parts of others; it feels and works much better. The collection box works well and is good sized (owners with extraordinary large dogs may want something bigger). The handles, being wood, were disappointingly rough finished. I like wood handles on gardening tools, etc. However, using many garden tools and doing some woodwork myself, I found the finish to be crude. The rake is fine (o.k.) for small waste amount like my smaller dogs, but might be a bit flimsy for larger dogs. As others have stated, the super glued on label on the scoop was annoying to remove; I used a construction adhesive remover. I can't get too critical...after all, the main purpose is a poopy function! LOL! Oh...they need to coat this with something better; it's not bad, but poo still sticks to the collection box.

The tray is smaller than my last scooper's. However, this also means it's lighter and easier to manage. I really like the rake, mainly because it is lightweight and has some flexibility. It catches the doo-doo and let's me flip it up onto the tray with ease.

This is helping my back. Back issues were why I finally did some research on these devices. Instead of stooping over with a garden trowel, many, many times a day with two dogs, I can now do the pick up while standing. Also the metal tray will hold multiple droppings so I'm not having to use the trash bag every time. I refused to buy those clam shell type scoopers ones sees in pet stores as they always looked like they would not work. I even gave a gifted one back to a friend because they didn't work well. However, this small rake and metal tray work perfectly on the bark chips I used to replace the lawn. Lawns and multiple dogs just don't work together. The rake is perfectly sized to fit into the metal tray. My back and back yard thanks you for this well made and well designed product. I also purchased the Vive pickup device to pick up all the dog toys strewn about the house. I have one dog that no matter how many toys are scattered about the house, she must pick out a "new" toy from the toy box. Having to pick up dog toys near constantly was killing my back. The Vive 36" pickup can pick up even a kibble it is so accurate.

Good product. "Rake" and "Scoop" hook together so easy to keep together. Hose off for cleaning. I even use to help with the little stuff that blows in the yard. Good Product !!- had a different kind of p. scooper before- didn't even last a month, this one will.
