Great product and does the job well. I’ve used this for a marble effect feature wall. Love how it’s turning out. Yet to finish and bought what I thought was another lot, but realised it was from somewhere else, the second lot was much thinner and more tricky to work with. Would highly recommend this one for ease and colour.

Purchased these to cover and compliment a Salvardor Darli picture I got with a wooden frame that did not match the picture, these fake gold leafs were great at covering over the old wood and giving the picture frame that aged old look that went with a picture of one of his classics

Looks lovely applied but I found it to be more delicate to work with than the gold.I am happy with the end result.

Brilliant!! Been using these to paint on and I love them! Easy to apply and they stay flat and intact when painting.A small tip… cornflour on your hands makes handling and applying these so much easier as they won’t stick to your fingers. Just a small bowl beside my work area and occasionally application as I work has made a big difference and it means I can be more precise with the laying on

Used for canvasses and have kept their sheen after I think a few years now. Yellows a bit, but to be fair I haven’t lacquered them. Very good sized sheets.

I used this and was delighted with how it looked on skirting boards. Took me a while but got there. However once I added the recommended type of sealant, it darkened and even copper green came through within hours. Was so disappointed, have had to paint over it. Such a shame as looked so good before sealant!

I liked these so much that I went back a few days later and ordered two more packs.Pros:Decent price point.Easy to use when applying to a properly prepared surface, using the right glue and careful application ("size adhesive" applied and allowed to go tacky).Shouldn't need sealing because there's no actual silver. Also because of that, varnish on high use items is fine and shouldn't discolour the sheets. Always do a patch test because it can affect lustre. I favour spray polyurethanes on artwork and yacht varnish on furniture.Cons:They don't cut straight even with normal metal leaf cutting and apllication methods.Needed a lot of patching, for pretty much everything I do this is not an issue. Most of the time on the item in the photos, minor issue with the sheets tearing really really easily were made worse by me not letting my size dry enough.Use the right glue the right way and they'll work well.
