This is a brilliant read. Arrived in excellent condition and is so insightful

My boyfriend had just left for a deployment when I bought this book and it is a life changer! She is spot on with how I was feeling and made me feel validated and understood. She gave advice that not many people can because she knows what we’re going through! Whether new to military life or you’ve been doing this for years I 100% recommend this book!

When I ordered this book, I felt so alone as a girlfriend who had not met any other significant others that I could lean on. Family and friends didn't relate or their advice was more hurtful because then I had to explain myself or our relationship. This book helped me feel relief! Even though I haven't really found any other women to support me in person, this book, along with the social media group, I realized all I was feeling & experiencing was normal! Thank you!

Cant speak highly enough of this book. So many stories, words of wisdom, and comfort line the pages. Currently reading with other Military Wives in a book club, but continue to go back to different letters when I need them.

I am so glad I pre-ordered Lizann's book so I could read it as soon as it was released. But once I got it something strange happened as I held it in my hands. I felt a wave of unexpected emotions flood over me. It was like I was holding Pandora's Box. I stared at the book on my nightstand, almost afraid to open it. It was so crazy!!! I had to laugh at myself thinking, "What are you afraid of???"So this morning, I had the courage to open it. Now I can't put it down. I feel like I am reading about myself, but how could she have known, but she did!! Lizann has so artfully, skillfully and authentically described moments in her life, my life and in the lives of so many countless other military spouses that I have known in the pages of this book. Thank you!

I loved this book - it was easy to read, I enjoyed being able to flip between chapters to read various chapters; but so such was comforting and encouraging reading words from another military spouse.
