I got this cord as the second I've had to buy that had a hint at the fact that it works. Only seeing the two reviews mentioning VR I was worried but since I got a refund for my last cable I thought I'd give it a shot. I am not disappointed, far from, I expected to plug it in and have to mess with it for an hour or two to hope it works but I can say that it works perfectly! The material is very good and I had no loss when playing even intensive games like Blade and Sorcery. If you're needing a extension for your VR this cable will do the job and is well worth the price. *Seller reached out to resolve the issue. A+ for customer service. Bought this as an extension cable for my Valve Index, and figured since it was for 8K, I could expect flawless performance. However, there is a noticeable amount of flickering pixels on screen, and a frequent popping sound in the headset.

I just needed an extender. My monitor more than 6 feet away from my gaming PC and this product pretty much did the trick. Works perfectly. No delays, No issues. I recommend it for anyone who wants to keep the quality and performance without having to get a longer, and lower quality displayport cable.

despite taking trust in a review I read stating that this cable worked for their rift s VR headset, it did not work for mine. it does, however, function as it should. just not for my purpose.

No issues so far, been using for 3 weeks as of writing this. No issues, still pulling as many frames using the original cable that came w/ my monitor, extended with this. I have played ARK Survival evolved with all max settings and am still pulling well over 100 frames. Destiny 2 pulling around 200 frames. Same as before using this cables extender. No issues, the cable has a cloth material instead of the rubberized coating. Durable, seems effective. Let’s me extend my cable for better cable management

For whatever reason, with this cable included in my setup, I do not get video to my monitor until after Windows finishes booting. If I remove it from the setup and connect the other cable direct to my monitor I do get video during bios post. Unfortunately I did not notice this issue at first, and once I did, I ended up going through the loop of checking everything else first - which took over two months between slow responding customer supports and RMAs - before finally figuring out it was this stupid thing. Argh!!

I was looking for an extension cable for my HP Reverb G2 ("VR headset"). This cable worked just fine and that's all that mattered to me. Unfortunately, I needed just a pinch longer, but "as is", this cable worked for what it was intended to do.

Le signal 8K passe bien mais c'est difficile de connecter/déconnecter un autre câble dans la partie femelle. J'ai acheté ce câble pour pouvoir (à distance, sans avoir à me rendre à l'arrière du PC) déconnecter un moniteur pour connecter un casque VR puis retirer le casque pour reconnecter le moniteur. Je dois aussi dire que je m'étais procuré un "commutateur" apparemment 8K... que mon casque VR n'acceptait pas... Ce câble a réglé ce problème mais je me demande combien de temps ça va fonctionner à toujour "me battre" pour introduire mes connecteurs DP mâles dans le connecteur trop étroit de ce câble d'extension. Évidemment, si vous envisagez utiliser ce câble comme extension "permanente" d'un signal video sur câble "Display port", vous pouvez y aller... AJOUTÉ janvier 2026 ` ATTENTION : ces câbles, même installés de façon permanente, deviennent défectueux après 18 ou 24 mois. Je les déconseille surtout que maintenant, la plupart des nouveaux connecteurs DP n'ont plus ces griffes qui rendent le retrait difficile.
