I looked at several different Evaporative Coolers and I am so happy I went with this one. I have been using this unit for almost a week.First, remember this is not an air conditioner. It does help cool rooms down by 3 or 4 degrees but, if you are looking for something more this is not the unit for you. I have used the old school swamp coolers were you flip open the top and put the ice in the ditch and pray as it melts it will cool down a degree or two. They were not great.This thing is a game changer. It takes 5 mabye 10 minutes to assemble. The wheels roll smoothly. It has a nice size box in the back to put your water in and you can put ice in it as well. It comes with two ice packs. -I would suggest getting more ice packs as you will use more than just the two. You do have to keep and eye on the water level it doesn't burn through the water quick but you don't want to burn out the little pump either. Easy controls and it comes with a remote control.I live in an old log cabin with many air leaks and this thing does help it cool down. We also have high velocity fans going to help out.

Do not buy this water cooler thing. You have to constantly clean it out because of mildew building up in the bucket and the thing begins to smell afterwards. I only had it for a month now and I find it a pain in the ass to have to clean it out all the time. It has left my bedroom smelling like mildew. It's disgusting. I wish I can go back in time and stop myself from buying it.

If you go in expecting this to act like a full on portable ac you will be very disappointed. This product is more like a fan than anything else. I wish the air coming out of it would be a little cooler than it is but it's better than a fan pushing around warm air. My apt has not had AC for about a week so I purchased this for a little bit of a relief. I set it where it was blowing toward the couch and at night toward my bed and it definitely makes you feel more comfortable but it will not cool down an entire room so don't buy it expecting it too. However if you have it blowing toward you and you can feel the air than it works great.

Yes it works it’s just as easy for a small only problem is they don’t tell you it leaks that’s a con right there the pros and cons the pros it does keep your room cool a little bit of water it’s easy to put ice in it and keep the room cool a little bit a time the only con with it it leaks a lot at least water I don’t know why it does that it just does so there’s pros and cons right there

I bought this cooler for 2 reasons. One, to cool my den on unusually hot days in my mountain home. I also needed to increase the humidity in my home to a comfortable level. This cooler was the perfect solution. In fact, after having it only a week I ordered a second one for my bedroom. Those of you who live in a low humidity areas will enjoy this product and will NOT be disappointed. With that said, I will not be buying one for use at my beach house where the humidity is often 80+%. At the beach I will stick with my air conditioner to remove heat and humidity from the home. It is important to understand WHERE these coolers will benefit you and WHERE they will not!

If you don't mind buying ice all the time and changing it every 10-20 minutes then this may work for you but it was miserable relying on this to cool down space. Waste of money for me and my family.

This is advertised and sold as an air conditioner. Air conditioners cool the room. This is an over priced weak fan. My patton air circulator have a more powerful blowing and cool the room better. You can buy 3 of them for the price of this item. I sat less than 5 feet away and could barely feel a breeze and the temperature of the room was unbearable.ONLY PURCHASE THIS IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF.On a positive note it arrived quickly.

I was hoping for something that worked better than our refrigerated unit. Yet, as it turns out, they both pretty much work the same. Also depending on the humidity this device doesn't work as well as we would like it to. It's light weight and not as heavy or bulky as the refrigerated unit, that we've had to work at getting into our window. Also, it seems to work better if you have the windows open. Where as the refrigerated unit works better with the windows closed. I like the fact that this device comes with little ice packs that are pretty easy to fill.
