The inscription on the compass had a spelling mistake and the seller refused to pay to shipit back or to ship a new one out. Claimed there was nothing wrong. Clearly the inscription should read “aim for the skies” not “am for the skies”

I was disappointed when I received the item. It was not what I had imagined it would be. The inscription are letters glued to the casing, which means that they could eventually peel off or could be scratched off. When I opened the box and looked at the casing, it had many scuff marks on it...leaving me to think that the casing was painted and not natural metal. I had to return it.

My husband asked me to order this for our oldest son's graduation gift from him. It perfectly sums up his thoughts as our son is going away for school. Great quality, sturdy materials, amazing value for the price. The case is a really nice addition.

This was to be a special pre-wedding gift to my son from his mother, but the inscription I choose was not the one on the back of the compass, and the salutation was to say "love mom" and it said "love dad" ("dad" is not a welcome thing to see). I did not have time to return it before the wedding. Very disappointed.
