Everyone should be aware that the British Berkey filters plastics, bacteria, and also the IQ killer fluoride.

I bought the wrong filters, but they still fit my Berkey and presumably do the job of getting rid of fluoride.

Water teste nice and clean

All I can say is these are a necessity to make sure the water is not loaded with harmful chemicals and micro organisms, Metals etc that can make us ill. They are expensive, but it’s either pay up or suffer the consequences. Sad that we are in this position in a modern civilised country, but at least these filters are available so that we can help ourselves.

This filter will fit all British Berkfeld filter systems. I highly recommend this company, the delivery service was fast and efficient and the filter systems don’t require any plumbing or electricity. Perfect for travelling in a camper van etc. highly recommended!

ho acquistato il sistema da 1 e da 6 litri, con i filtri Ultra Sterasyl: dopo due cicli, ho iniziato ad usare l'acqua filtrata senza alcun tipo di problema ho acquistato una coppia di Ultra Fluoruro, per migliorare ulteriormente la filtrazione purtroppo, sin dall'inizio l'acqua filtrata ha un odore strano, di plastica/solvente: pensavo fosse legato ai "lavaggi" del filtro, ma dopo avere già fatto più di 10 cicli di filtrazione, questa "puzza", pur diminuendo, permane sono lontanissimo da casa, altrimenti li avrei immediatamente restituiti

Da keinerlei Anleitung bei dem Filter beilag, hatte ich zunächst die Patronen in die British Berkefeld Schwerkraft Anlage verkehrt herum eingesetzt: unten die Patronen, oben die Verschraubung. Erst als ich mir die Fotos bei Amazon angesehen habe, wurde mir das klar. Leider hatte ich auch keinen Hinweis zum genauen Vorgehen, hatte aber Mal gehört, dass man das Wasser erst einmal durchlaufen lassen und wegschütten sollte. Nach dem googeln war ich schlauer: Filterstaub mit Tuch abwischen oder abspülen und dann einsetzen! Danach das Wasser mehrmals durchlaufen lassen und erst trinken, wenn es klar ist! Nun kann es losgehen mit dem reinem Wasser: viel trinken, köstlichen, rückstandsfreien Tee zubereiten, das Dampfbügeleisen ohne Kalk und den Filter im Kaffeevollautomat sparen usw.
