Works soooo much better than the iflight gps module.
I have bought plenty of the iflight gps receivers in the past just because I like the brand but I decided to try this one because of it's price. SO MUCH BETTER. Locks faster, more accurate, and cheaper!I have read some of the reviews saying to use NMEA instead of UBLOX but I could not get the NMEA to work, the instructions that are included say to use the UBLOX. So that's what I did and it worked perfectly. The included cable's pinout did not match my FC so I had to change that around a bit but it was an easy and acceptable fix. Just don't plug yours in and short something out, always check your wiring diagram.I will be buying more and slowly replacing my iflights.

Go, go, GPS rescue!
Supports Mag and Barometer, and has compass. Best GPS unit yet. I will buy this unit going forward as I continue to build out my FPV quad collection.

Great value
This is the most accurate GPS module for FPV I have ever had. I have tried the Matek M8Q-5883 and had mixed results. This M80 Pro gets a stronger and faster lock. The magnetometer is spot on, even in my planes. This is a wonderful unit.

Works better than expected, much better than RDQ's.
These modules lock fairly quick

Magnetometer Stops Working After a Minute or Two. Avoid
The GPS portion worked fine, albeit slow. The magnetometer would work for a minute or two, but then stop. Not only that, but it would take the barometer down with it. I moved it off the dedicated i2c pads on the flight controller and converted SERIAL 3 into a i2c bus. It worked, but still stopped after a minute. Then I turned on the built in pull up resisters. It lasted two to four minutes, but still stopped. At least it didn't take the barometer down with it. I flashed tried the latest iNAV instead of Betaflight and the exact same problem happened.I'll get a Matec or something proven to work next time.

Check your pinouts of flight controller and this GPS
I was having trouble getting this to work, for a week or so now. I finally checked the pinout of the connector and the flight controller side connector (SpeedyBee F7 flight stack). The pinout was way off, which is why the GPS didn't even light up. Using an exacto knife, I carefully lifted the plastic tabs on each wire and removed them cleanly. I then referenced the circuit board itself, which explains the pinouts for the F7 flight controller (+5v, ground, TX, RX, SDA, SDL).Make sure to flip the TX and RX lines, from the GPS. (example: You want the TX of the GPS to hit the RX of the Flight controller)

Good
Good gps like most it takes some time to get a lock on satellites but get a vifly gps mate and it will be fine

Works fine, but use NMEA instead of uBlox protocol.
The description and image say this uses the uBlox protocol, however the package had a very obvious label attached that says to use NMEA.While it never claims to use a uBlox receiver, I think this is somewhat implied by mentioning the uBlox protocol, and in fact the chip is an AT6558. This isn't necessarily a bad thing; some people might assume it's something different though and expect additional features that aren't there. It will send NMEA data at 10Hz 115200 baud out of the box as described. The chip appears to partially implement a subset of the uBlox protocol; I was able to use u-center to configure it for other navigation rates but not much else. The compass appears to work correctly, at least so far.
