fits perfectly and most hats I've tried in the past didn't. I'm an average size man but most of these types of hats are too small but this one fits just right so if your a bigger man it may not fit but I think it would be worth a try. It's is adjustable if you have a smaller head. The flap is detachable or you can just flip it up on top of your head but, I work a lot in nature preserves so I prefer avoiding Sunburn over fashion so the flap for me is a true life saver! I am a photographer with a commercial drone license and I do a lot of outdoor nature work so this hat is a must. The chin strap is great for me since I work in a lot of windy environments or traveling in boats on the river and I don't have to worry about my hat flying off, I've lost a lot of hats in the past.

I buy hats like this for sun (skin cancer) protection. Brim was medium wide, wish it was (only a little) wider. OTOH, I saw many customer reviews (I look at the 1-2 Star reviews first) for similar hats delivered creased in the middle ... this one was laid flat like a pizza so it would not lose its sun protecting width. Don't know if it will last forever or not, but for an item bought online I saw no obvious defects at a competitive price.

Love this hat. I think this is an outstanding product for the price. It fits well, feels light, and has a neck flap that protects the back of one’s net from the sun - saving both sun tan lotion and the skin from sunburn.

This hat is great for outdoor work and I like that the back can easily be removed. The hat is a little snug for those with larger heads but stays on well while mowing. The back protects your neck from the sun.

We purchased this for our Pastor who has no hair and was using a baseball cap but was still getting sunburn. He loved it and it protected him much better. Light weight and washes up nicely.

My husband has a Job which requires him to spend time in the field occasionally. This hat kept him from getting a terrible sunburn It does what it supposed to do.

Very small size. Not wide enough, but very thick brim. Neck flap does not cover neck properly.
