What I needed.
I was looking for a vertical mouse with a palm rest that wouldn't break the bank. It's good for the price. The LED light is not distracting but you can't turn it off. Affordable compared to other vertical mouse advertised in Amazon.

For an $18 mouse, I'm impressed.
I got this coming from SteelSeries Rivals, as I don't like their current offerings, and decided to try a "vertical" mouse. It actually isn't hard to get used to, but as someone who wears size large gloves, I wish it was a bit larger, as I either have to hold it "turned", so my hand is kinda hanging off the wrist pad a bit, or I'm clicking with the middle of my finger, instead of the tip.The function that... Confuses me, is I am a programmer, so I keep managing to "go back" on webpages when I am trying to highlight and copy something. So either it is triggering some gesture I never setup, or the back button is just REALLY sensitive.Per the user complaining about the macro, IN THE SOFTWARE, that you have to DIG for http://zelotes.cn/en/Downloads/104_14_1.html there is a couple controls for the macro, and I *think* one of them would do what they were trying to do, with using a macro button to walk their character forward. The mouse defaults to 500hz polling, instead of the 1khz it advertises, and the controls are pretty basic, but honestly more than I really want. I just wanted to control the DPI level of the sensor, as the defaults are not my preference, and I wanted to see what I could control. It does feel weird having a VISIBLE laser again, after not seeing the laser in over 15 years on a mouse, so that's a little weird IMHO.Wish the software had better descriptions of what stuff does, like the light settings took me a second to figure out, and one of the programmable options on the mouse button is "boss mode", which I assume is either to "hide" what you are doing, OR maybe is like a sniper button, where it crashes the DPI of the mouse while you hold it? (its listed under WINDOWS functions, IE control/calculator... so I'm leaning towards "I'm doing something I shouldn't, and need a quick way to hide it if the boss walks in...")

while the mouse was good for basic computer work it is not for gaming
Pro: it felt awesome on my hand. Very natural and easy to get a grasp of. It moved well if slow (I am used to a higher DPI on a mouse) It was not too big or too heavy and felt great in my handCons:I got this because of the advertised programmable keys. While they are programmable they are only programable to the preset changes allowed in the software. For example, I wanted one button to be space and one to be W neither of which was allowed as a programable key. I tried to macro them (it does have a basic macro system) but when I macro'ed W and tried to walk in the game I would have to press the key over and over to walk instead of just holding it in.The software itself is hard as heck to find. You have to go to a page that is written in Chinese you can find a small button that says English. Once loaded you find a 'driver' for the mouse. I almost didn't download it because I didn't need the driver. it is in fact not the driver but the software you need. I have to unzip the software then download a rar reader and unpack the rar files before finally getting to the point I could run the software. Not intuitive at all.I returned the mouse because it did not do the basic stuff that it advertised and was not a fit for me.
