Q: What does gas powered mean

Q: How close to the border does this cut?

It’s a great device. Wire is meant to be 30cm from border which means it doesn’t get stuck and will cut 10cm of this gap leaving 20cm uncut. We cheated and put the wire 10cm from the border. It got stuck so much, I moved to 20cm. Now it rarely gets stuck and only leaves 10cm uncut. That’s not so good now it’s wet and it might get stuck a bit more but I don’t mind! You don’t really notice what’s not cut as it’s so small. It was a worry for us. We cut the gap once a month with the lawn mover and it’s all good.

Q: Does this lawnmower identify dog poo and avoid?

Simple answer, No. I complete a quick scan to remove twigs and hedgehog droppings!. Good practice with any lawn mowing would be to do this anyway. The ethos with Indego is to cut little and often thus any foreign object are easily spotted. To my knowledge no robotic mower will avoid dog poo, they will happily go through them with awful consequences for you in the clean up!!
