Great flavour and protein intake
Great product and highly recommended. It was really hard to find a good value substitute to regular whey protein. Look no further, this is an amazing substitute and the taste is delicious. It is not sweet and it is not savoury, it's just neutral and perfect. I normally take it with oat milk (barista preferably) and just use my regular whey shaker. It does mix well and becomes quite smooth, I always want to drink more as the taste is delicious. The protein gram quantities is good and I normally use two to three scoops and it is really helping me building up muscles. The other positive point is that it won't make you bloated so it does not affect digestion. Vey happy customer here and I already subscribed to get it often for cheaper price.

The Best Pea Protein on Amazon!
My usual pea protein is no longer available on Amazon, and I searched high and low for a replacement. When I'm looking for protein, there are a few things I primarily look for: - Protein concentration, per serving (the higher, the better) - Calories per serving (the lower, the better) - Carbohydrates, fats, sodium and sugars per serving (the lower, the better) - Other ingredients (the less, the better) - Dollar (or pound) per 1kg (lower is, of course better) - The source of the protein and where it is packaged (I don't want anything from China) - The amino acid chain (All 9 essential amino acids are a MUST) And secondarily, the taste and how well it mixes. This protein is not only great value, at its price, but it ticks every single requirement for me, with one caveat. The only ingredient is peas (from the taste, it's mostly chickpea). There are no additives. No added sugar or sweeteners (which is a preference thing). Very low in carbs, sodium and bad fats (the kind that raises your bad cholesterol). At 17 grams per serving, you get 14 grams of protein, which isn't bad, at all. It means, two servings (totalling 34 grams) gets you 28 grams of protein, with 134 calories. Now, this is the biggest con for me - compared to a lot of other proteins out there (vegan and non-vegan), 134 calories per 28 gram serving isn't good, at all. There are worse out there, but there's also better. That said, we can't have it all. It just means that, if you're very weight-conscious, you might have to cut back in calories a tad, from other foods/drinks. At its price, it's probably the cheapest amongst the competition, even cheaper than another brand I love, that I can no longer find on Amazon. The other brand (I won't say its name) is actually more expensive, but is only 120 calories per serving - everything else between the two are comparable. As for the taste - that's purely a preference thick. If you're coming from thick, creamy whey proteins with added sweeteners and an array of flavours, this will probably turn you off. If you're accustomed to more bland proteins or vegan proteins, this will fit right in. Personally, I love the taste and with a few dashes of nutmeg, cinnamon and a banana or two, this becomes a very delicious smoothy. Feel free to add whatever you like (strawberries, raspberries, etc.). Some low calorie peanut butter powder will do wonders for this too. Overall, I give this protein 5 stars and this will now be my go-to for vegan protein supplementation.

Convenient, mixes well and well priced.
Love this protein powder, doesn't go lumpy and easily mixes with water w/out having to use a blender (just some manual stirring with a fork). It also doesn't leave a strong after taste either, so very convenient to consume if you just need the pure protein without adding all the extras just to make the protein powder edible to drink.

Exactly what you want from pea protein
My usual brand of pea protein wasn't available at a price I was willing to pay. I tried this brand as I thought it seemed more reasonable, and was very happy with my purchase. I actually looked up the 'Farmer Pete's' brand to see if they had a website, or any other products, but I can't seem to find anything else with that branding. It's a shame because I thought it was a good product, at a fair price, with a cute character on it to boot. I would definitely buy this again if I thought the price was reasonable, and I was in need. In terms of flavour, it's standard, unflavoured pea protein. It probably takes a bit of getting used to if you've not had it before, but I find it's quite mild once you're accustomed to it. Personally, I mix it into soups and other cooked foods, where the spices mask most of it (although, realistically, I've been eating pea protein for so long that I don't notice the flavour of it at all). The texture and mixability of Farmer Pete's pea protein was, again, standard. It mixes quite smoothly and isn't lumpy if properly combined. Pea protein is an easily digestible protein for me, particularly in contrast to other options, like whey. Farmer Pete's performs well in this aspect too, and is just as easily digestible as other pea proteins I've had in the past. Shame this doesn't seem to be a 'real' brand. Maybe it's something that's not fully established in the UK yet?

Only one I will use
I think this is the best plant based protein powder on the market. As I normally exercise for 4 hours every day a good protein powder helps me stay fit and strong.

Chalky but nice
Mixes well with other stuff as it has no added flavour. All pea protein has a slight "chalkiness" to it but I'm fine with that. Good value product and I love the packaging.

Thick and creamy
This is different from other proteins I have tried. I have mixed it with some yoghurt and it’s so thick and creamy that I am full much quicker. For me this is great and I hope it helps me stop reaching for snacks. It doesn’t taste of much and does not have a powdery flavour.

Surprisingly good.
I’ve been having this protein powder for sometime now and I usually add it to my morning cereal or oatmeal. It has a very subtle earthy flavour, which is good, and there’s the obvious benefit of extra protein. I like that it’s vegan and a single pack can last you quite a while. Much prefer it to other overpriced and sugary brands.
