Item received damaged
I wish I had received a fully intact board however due to the lack of packaging on Amazon's fulfillment end the item was damaged split in the middle and corners falling apart. Since the board was going to be used as a vibration pad on top of a table I installed it with all the ugly damage hidden.Had I purchased this to install on a wall for a dart board backsplash I would not have used the board as the damage during transit truly rendered the board useless (mine arrived split in half due to lack of packaging)Keep this in mind when ordering as several others have had the same issue and this lack of packaging from Amazon is a known issue based off the reviews.

Absorbs the blows from all my misses
We play darts for recreation, no one is good at the game. Stuck in the house, I'm getting better, but miss the board completely often enough that, without a backboard, the dart tips would take a beating (I don't care about the wall behind it, it's the basement). It's sturdy enough that I used wood screws to secure it to the wood paneling. For some spots I tried double sided tape, but that doesn't hold. The darts stick to the board, they don't bounce off. I've found it worth the money; it's not expensive.

Not dense enough to protect wall
This dart board backer looks great and is the size I was looking for, but most darts seem to go through it like butter. It's not dense enough cork to provide proper protection for the wall. With that said, I'm leaving it up because it's better than nothing, just not what I was hoping for.
