Pedigree Dentastix Deep Clean Original Mini Treats For Dogs - 11.5 Oz. 20 Count (Pack Of 4)

I find the Deep Clean Dentastix do a better job of cleaning my dogs' teeth so I alternate with the Original Dentastix 2 or 3 times a week. The Mini Deep Clean size seemed a bit small for my 12-pound dogs as they ate them so quickly so thought I'd move up to the Small/Medium size. To my surprise, the Small/Medium is HUGE. They're approximately 1 to 1-1/8 inches in diameter and 4-3/4 inches long. It's like taking 6 pencils (but slightly larger in diameter than regular pencils) and rolling them into a bundle. My dogs still love them and are able to manage fine but I do cut them in half so about 2-3/8 inches long. I would prefer to cut them lengthwise to reduce the width but would need an electric knife or my reciprocating saw and that's way too dangerous. So 5 stars because they clean my dogs' teeth pretty well and the cost is better than $350-400 for teeth-cleaning at the vet.

Our dog loves most treats, but these are special. I didn't realize that you can only give these Dentastix a few times a week. We used to buy the green, daily oral care Dentastix, but these do the job. These have more grooves and are thicker then the daily ones. Our small, 12lb dog, takes about 3-5 mins to eat these. The breath isn't as fresh as the daily oral care Dentastix, but her vet says she has low tartar and these sticks are working.

My little dog had typical little dog teeth (gross and a tendency to bad breath). The vet said that eventually we would have to schedule surgery to have them scraped. In addition his front gums bled whenever I brushed his teeth. Started giving him one of these every morning, followed by a regular Pedigree Dentastix (not the deep clean). This became his 'breakfast' every day. Slowly but surely his teeth began to lose that gross brown layer and he has kissable breath! Hope it works as well for you and your furry friend!

Both of my chihuahuas are picky on what they will chew but both like these bones. It has also cleaned the plaque on their teeth. The Vet wanted to clean one dogs teeth but I dont like to have a dog put to sleep that much.The dogs back teeth were almost covered with plaque. Now they are pretty and white. The plaque is gone. Really like these bones and glad my dogs do to.

My dog is old now but he loves these and the vet said they are great as he has to hold them in his paws chewing on the left side then the right so yes it has helped his teeth with the tarter

My dog loves these treats. I give one every other day as her bone for the day. She is 10 years old and her teeth are in great shape. I rescued her 4 years ago and she has not had to have her teeth cleaned yet. I am glad I can find them here since most stores do not carry them. Thank you.

I wish they hadn't stopped making these. My little dog loved them. I hate the regular Pedigree Dentastix as they are too soft and she would get them stuck sideways in her mouth occasionally and freak us all out as she chocked on them. Please bring these back, Pedigree.

My dogs love these. I break them into and give one to each dog every night before bed. It's like them brushing their teeth before bed. LOL They are kinda big, but I am very satisfied with this product and it is hard to find in the stores.
