After reviewing the info on many of the thin sports hair bands, I decided to purchase these. The bands were shipped quickly, and on time. The size and stretch were exactly as described. I was very pleased with my choice, and have used them everyday since I received them. As a man with a decent sized head, the band was not too tight. I have thick, almost shoulder length hair. The band doesn't slip, and held my hair in place during my workouts. In some reviews people said that there was a smell to the bands. My bands had no scent. If you want a thin band, that can hold your hair in place, I would highly recommend these bands. After daily use of the bands for close to a month, I want to add to my initial review. First, I would not change most, or possibly anything of my original review. I'm adding to it just in case it might help someone else. When I gave my first review I was only using the bands for my workouts. During my workouts the bands were very comfortable, and held my thick hair in place. Currently, most of my workouts are 2 hours or less. Since I liked them so much, I began wearing them for longer periods of time. Mostly because for some things it was easier to have my hair out of the way. They're great for pulling your hair back while cooking, shaving, working on a car, and they would help when someone needs to put on their makeup. In my original review I did say that I have a large head, and therefore what I'm going to say might not apply for many people. What I found was that when I would wear them for approx 3 to 6 hours, I did have some issues with the band feeling too tight. Most of the the symptoms would occur after wearing the band for longer than 4 hours. After that long, I noticed that my head felt like it was being too constricted. I found that I would develop a slight pounding headache, and the areas where the band was touching my hair became slightly irritated. The fortunate news is that after taking the band off, in about 30 minutes all my symptoms stopped. I still plan on continually using the bands whenever they're required. I just won't wear them too long. When I need more bands, I plan on buying these again. There are so many hair bands of this type being sold. Probably just like you, I grew tired of reading reviews, guessing which one to buy, and trying to make a decision. My hope is that by giving a detailed review, it will alleviate some of the frustration I went through. Good luck.

I bought these to prevent the sweat from my forehead from dripping in my eyes. I wear a helmet while riding my bicycle and I can't fit a normal headband under my helmet. These are perfect, they go just above my eyebrows and do not interfere with my helmet.
