I bought this in preparation for hurricane Irma. After the power went out, this was a lifesaver. The different settings were great and it was very illuminating. We got to use it for about an hour before things went south.In the shuffle of last minute hurricane prep, the light was knocked off of the coffee table and onto the carpet, leaving the hurricane preppers in total darkness. Hoping to find that the power was simply shut off, I was sorely disappointed to discover there was absolutely no getting the light to work again. I tried for a good 25 minutes before chocking it up to a lost cause.So then, the hurricane preppers were left with some candles and flashlights to get us by for the next few days.Needless to say, we were really bummed out.

I bought this for my son to use for nighttime bathroom trips. He's 5 and this has helped him not be scared to get out of bed to use the bathroom. It is light weight and bright. I really like that there are 3 settings to choose from.The only negative I see so far is that the battery door does not shut as securely as I would like, and it is very easily opened so I would not recommend for a toddler but my 5 year old knows not to open that part.

Great little light. Perfect for our RV and camping. Love the different ways it can be used and the nice bright white light. The only possible improvement is to have a place for it to be clipped and hung from the top of the tent. Awesome light tho.

I gave this to my son on Christmas day. He has used it here or there since then, adventuring around the house. It fell off the couch today - as in, it slipped off the couch, not thrown - and the hinge to the battery compartment broke. Really? This is supposed to be a camping lantern and it can't handle one fall? I am disappointed. So is my son.

I have had this thing for 4 years now and it is still going strong. I've dropped it so many times around the house and when camping. It does feel very lightweight and plastic I am surprised how well it has held up. Highly recommend!

I bought this during the power blackouts in California this year. It is so lightweight yet bright. It's especially nice because it is great as a flashlight but even better for lighting a whole room. I highly recommend this for emergency preparedness kits!!

Lantern is very lightweight and gives off bright light. It feels very rigid and fragile. The plastic seems like it would break very easily if dropped. I got this for my 2nd graders camping trip and decided not to send it with her. I keep it in the kitchen for emergencies.

Got this in black for my daughters science camp. It's perfect for her, light is bright enough. Three different light options, The light on the side is perfect when she wants to read in the dark. Definitely recommend
